Summer 2022: While completing a full kitchen renovation, we ordered kitchen cabinets and crown molding through Heartwood Cabinetry. While at the showroom, Mr. Martin G***** was showing us the crown molding we wanted for our kitchen/laundry room. We explained to him that we have stock crown molding in the rest of the home and would like it to match. He explained to us and showed us that the molding he would order for us was very similar to the one we have in our home, but told us the stock molding wouldn't work. We wanted good quality crown molding. We were shown a one layered single cove molding. What was shown to us was completely different than what was ordered for us. We were supplied with a 5 layered colonial style crown molding. We made phone calls and sent emails showing our documentation of the renderings and explaining our showroom visit with no help in site. Additionally, attached below you will see a PDF entitled, All & Elevations. On page 5 on the right hand side, it says cove crown and soffit. We have addressed this by sending emails asking for full refunds and asking them to come pick up their crown molding. They offered us $1,000 dollars with a signed agreement that we would not take further action to absolve them from their mistake. After further correspondence, they threatened to enter our home and take the cabinets (already paid for and installed). They also threated to put a lien on our home. All of our products have been paid in full prior to ordering and receiving products. They threatened the above if we pursued legal action. Our contractor was able to order and install the stock crown molding as we had wanted in the first place. Additionally, none of the crown molding was spelling out for us on the sales order. There was no description, price, etc. The only reason we know about the price is because of our meeting in the showroom. Nothing on their end is documented.
