I've had such a positive experience with this website. The platform offers a vibrant community of book lovers, providing opportunities to engage in meaningful discussions, discover new titles, and connect with fellow readers. I appreciate the diverse range of books featured on the site and the user-friendly interface, which makes navigation seamless. I wish I could give them 0 stars. I paid for the Level 4 Review package for $297. This package included a guarantee that I would sell 1000 copies of my book. But, I had to follow these 3 steps: 1. Pay for the service 2, Purchase Scott's book 3. Use his mentoring program I did all 3. When I complained that I can't write and review everyday for his mentoring program, I was told I didn't have to do that. Sure. Then I got the review. A 2-Star review. What can I do with that? I can't use it anywhere. The reviewer didn't even seem to like Romance Books, because they complained about language and a story not suitable for a teen. Of course not. It's a romance book. I was told that I could have a 2nd review. Except they took their time to do it. It's over a month now and I've seen no sales from them. I've complained to Scott multiple times, and he has not written me back yet. He left me with no other choice but to complain about his horrible service. All I want now is a refund. Something they refuse to do. Don't use this service if you are a writer. It won't help you and you will just end up waiting for nothing.Review from Renee G

What a joke! Never paid me for two reviews. I spent a lot of time reading the book and at least an hour on the second review. They kicked me out and never paid me a dime.

Did you contact the support team via the contact link on the website, and give them a chance to fix your issue before leaving this review? I ask mainly because if you did contact the support team and the responding customer support staff member did not already go above and beyond to fix your issue, then that is a second separate problem that I also need to investigate. I've found my literary haven on OnlineBookClub! Writing reviews here has been a delightful experience. Not only do you get to explore fantastic books, but the added bonus of earning while doing what you love is every reader's dream come true. Complete joke run by frauds. All of these sites need a "no star" option. I was promised $50 to buy a book ($9.75) from Barnes and Noble (only from there) and write a review. Each time I submitted my review, someone different read it and sent back edits. Some contradicted the other (put in a comma, take out a comma). Some had spacing issues. Then their site lost all of my radio button selections, saying I didn't answer them. After a while, I started taking screen shots so I knew what I submitted. So I'm out money, the author and B&N got paid, and I spent a ridiculous amount of time reading this book, writing the review, and endlessly editing it with their spotted "errors." Here are the last editor's comments (after at least 4 others reviewed): One underlying theme(remove hyphen)-that the loss of powerful female leadership doesn’t bode well for the world-((use dash)is repeated throughout It’s important to note that (this) (is) Ph.D., as this book is as much a tutorial as it is a novelOnlineBookClub.org LLC Response

Hi, ****** If your review was rejected by the editor and sent back to you due to it containing objective errors, then you simply want to edit the review to fix the errors and re-submit it. It's not that uncommon that you might need to go through that quick process a few times (of having your review proofread by someone for you and then sent back to fix some errors found), especially if the original draft sent in contained many errors. Many times in the process of fixing one typo/error, the author/writer of a review or book can inadvertently create a new error. Of course, we a professional support team working 24/7 that you can easily contact anytime if you have any trouble at all, and they are under strict instruction to go above and beyond to more than resolve any and all concerns for any member who contacts them. My experience has been great! I get to pick what books I read, and get paid for my thoughts about them. At first I didn't think it was true, but after I got the email saying it there was a deposit in account I knew it wasn't a scam. My Experience with the Online Book Club has been very good. Not only I am getting a chance to review books but also I get paid on time. The team is responsive and quick in case I reach out for any queries or questions. The most important part for me is that the process of book reviewing is the feedback that I get for my reviews. I come across a lot of areas of improvement after each review I do, through the feedback of the editor(s). Good initiative by Online Book Club and I am very much satisfied and pleased with the service and support they provide.
