This insurance covers nothing and even charges extra to use it and ive spent thousands out of pocket and none of it goes toward deductible so I am not sure what use this is, it doesn't cover meds or peptides or testosterone or bloodwork or a good PT it take $5 off a bad PT and it takes $10 off an xray but a $200 charge for using it in the first place. Do yourself a favor and Google search your city for walk in MRI. Walk in Xray. Walk in lab tests. Walk in consultation for hormones and peptides. Call around cus prices vary but you'll find some good deals. Groupon had some of the best help I have received and the most knowledgeable help was on Groupon for $30 to get my Thyroid and Testosterone fixed and I had hit early menopause but actually came out of menopause and BPC-157 healed 90% of my injuries but insurance wont cover anything helpful they just want to feed you drugs.

I was seeking a plan through the affordable care act and got the Aetnacvs HMO. While it may be "less expensive" than others it is useless. Horrible customer service who have literally no idea what they are talking about nor could I understand a word out of their mouths. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE ALL THE WAY AROUND. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

I’ve had constant harassment about their healthy home visit program. I’ve told them no. They have called me three times this week about this program which I have said NO to and have said no to since I signed up for this insurance in January. So thrilled to find they won’t be offering insurance in ******* in 2026, saves me the trouble of canceling it.

The personnel are not knowledgeable, zero customer service skills, I had to fight for payments because they do not want to give the benefits they promised
This one is one of the worst insurances in the market

My complaint concerns their OTC practice and policy's of restricting customers from purchasing brands such as ********* , **** ******* , etc. They refused to sell the products in my cart at CVS (Aetna owns CVS) I can order it at Walmart , but Aetna restricts all mail order and because must be picked up at walmart (a 60 mile trip) I feel they discriminate against people using their health card because of all the stupid restrictions.

I am extremely disappointed with Aetna. I was charged $600 for a blood test ordered by my doctor that was not covered by insurance. I had no idea this bloodwork would not be covered by my insurance, because no one told me. When I got my bill, I immediately contacted Aetna and asked if I could appeal the charge. They told me how, and I appealed it, and Aetna denied it, stating that the test I got was not covered by insurance. Of course it's not, that's why I was appealing the charge. I am appalled at the way this has been handled, and the fact that I have no other recourse. Aetna is not patient friendly at all. Now I am stuck with a several hundred dollar bill that I am unable to pay.

I am writing to formally file a complaint against Aetna regarding the reduction of authorized service hours for my mother’s care, despite assurances made during a recent hearing that those hours would be restored and reimbursed. As of today, no action has been taken to honor that decision.
Additionally, I have reason to believe that Aetna may still be billing Medicaid for services that were not rendered due to the reduction in hours. They took the money during the time my hours were reduced. The hearing officer granted me reimbursement for those hours dated from March 13, 2025-June 2025. The case manager would not speak to me about those hours. This raises serious concerns about potential Medicaid fraud and ethical misconduct.
I have attempted to contact the AETNA fraud department multiple times., but my calls have gone unanswered, this lack of communication and accountability has caused significant distress and hardship.
I respectfully request that this matter be investigated thoroughly. I am prepared to provide documentation, including hearing records, service logs, and communications, to support my claims.

It is hard to even come up with rating. This company is not abiding by the Medicare guidelines. They do not provide case management assistance without a 5 to 10 day waiting period. They do not provide effective assistance to determine the best care options for your loved ones, and they only provide 24 hour notice of discharge. If you want to spend your money wisely and ensure that you are getting good, do not use Aetna.
