Charged almost 3x the price for a Nebulizer, mask, and tubing for both my children. Carecentrix charged $150.17 per device and the cash price if I didn't have insurance from Oxylife Respitory (the supplier) would have been $65.00. I could have also bought the same machines through Amazon for $50.00. This company is a repeat offender of price gouging. I will be filing a complaint with my state attorney's office, Insurance regulator and legislator.Review from Andy B

AB here. Carecentrix. Remind me to never deal with these people again, come death do we part. $3489.46 for a defibrillator vest “use” and return to them in 20 days. USED THE THING TWENTY DAYS! And the customer service is the worst in the nation because you will NEVER get them on the phone. From one “hold” to another “hold”. Tried at least 10 times (no exaggeration) to speak to someone there. We’re practically indigent and get held up for a bill with no portal for negotiation. JUST A FINAL NOTICE TO PAY THE INVOICE. SCAM - charged me $324.91 for a wrist brace that retails for $31 on a medical supply site. I have Horizon BCBS federal employee plan and IMHO they are ripping off the insurance company who then passes the cost to the members. Time to take a trip to ******* to speak with legislators about this..... I suggest to all folks being balance billed by them to just not pay it and file a complaint with their local insurance regulator and legislator.Review from Ingrid S

Argued over a bill claiming something was sent (without authorization or knowledge) to our address while we were out of town the whole month, different person EVERY TIME and that's when you can get a real person on the phone after waiting almost an hour.... Company is either way understaffed or not knowledgeable of their actions. And don't bother to give me the standard BOT reply about how the problem is being addressed.Review from Ronak P

Company is such a ripoff and the reviews here says it all. They sent us a bill for about $200 for a nebulizer that costs about $20 on Amazon. They charged my insurance company in addition to that. We were told from hospital that the device is covered under insurance and you shouldn’t pay for it. I’ve never used the crappy device that this company has charged me for. you need take your device back and stop ripping off peopleCareCentrix, Inc. Response

This company should be investigated pronto. The first bill received states the bill payment total is 793.51 due March 3, 2024 Today is February 23, 2024, yet I just received a followup bill stating payment is late so they want 892.26. How can it be late if it is due March 3. When you call in to make the payment via automated patient payment via service provided by the site, the amount quoted to pay is 1, 685.77. AED ******* * *********** *** ******** The first bill statement says the total cost was 4,561.66 Total payments received. 1,574.05 Insurance pending. 0.00 Adjustments $-2,194.10 Patient Payment due 3/6/2024. 793.51 The second payment statement *** ******* * *********** *** ******** 4,461.28 Total payments received 3,569.02 Insurance pending 0.00 Adjustments 0.00 Patient Payment Past Due 892.26 The invoice numbers are also different on each account. The phone automation now has an increased due amount now of 1, 687.77 which when the two due amounts are added together totals the 1, 687.77. Have been trying to get a CPAP machine since November 13, 2023. A nightmare dealing with CareCentrix and ****** Every time I call Care Centrix to follow up on status, I am told something different. I have been given conflicting information on the same call. ***** does not even answer the phone.Review from Martin F

One of if not the WORST company I have tried to work with. If your not careful you will get bill after bill after. Cannot get someone on the phone. Total rip off on supplies. When I see my Primary care physician next month I will recommend to him to NEVER suggest to anyone to try a CPAP machine.CareCentrix, Inc. Response
