            Ordered food on Mothers Day 5/9 through this company TAKEOUT 7 for food coming from ********* *** *****. Order went through and than I received a call from the restaurant that they could not handle the order and was told I would have to ask for a refund from Takeout 7. I have now tried for 5 days to get someone on the phone and no one picks up or returns calls. They have processed the transaction and received my money promptly but are unwilling to return a call. NEVER USE TAKEOUT 7 if your restaurant is using them.

            Terrible service. Their system took my order for a local restaurant and accepted my payment. I was then called a half an hour after placing my order and was informed that the while they certainly accepted my payment they couldn't actually place the order with the restaurant. I was informed by a rather rude woman that it was my problem now and that they couldn't reach the restaurant by phone so I would have to contact them to actually, you know, place an order that they already charged me for doing. It turns out the restaurant closed for the day and after they accepted my payment the service shut down their ordering. Again, terrible people, terrible service. I suppose one must let the buyer beware in these circumstances.

            Hello ******* We sincerely apologize that your experience using our system was not pleasant. In the case of refunds, we do not hold the money necessary to issue refunds. Once you place an order, the money is processed through the restaurant and the restaurant holds the funds. Because of this, the restaurant must place the refund. Again, we are sorry for any confusion and for the inconvenience. If this ever happens again, please call the restaurant during their open hours and ask them to process the refund. If for any reason you cannot get in touch with them during their working hours, then please contact us and we will assist with contacting them.
