  I applied for DOT and started receiving threatening and intimidating calls from Michael D'****** with Foley. When I asked if he worked for the DOT, he confirmed yes, and when I asked if he was a third party, he gave me the runaround about how that question isn't relevant. He was prying for non-public information and threatened that our company would be audited because X, Y, and Z wasn't in compliance. I personally handled those items and informed him he was mistaken because I had been working with an accredited company that was giving me guidance. Michael became even more offensive and started insulting my choice of company, and rattling off how he's been in business for 33 years, the largest company, yada yada yada. I don't know how he's a senior analyst and earns the clientele he boasts about with the aggressive, repulsive, and harassing behavior he radiates immediately when you answer the phone. I followed up with the person who was giving me guidance during this process, and she confirmed our DOT was ACTIVE, there were no flags or alerts, and that changing the number of drivers from 2 to 1 would not trigger an audit. Michael is extremely unprofessional and bully-like scare tactics don't work well. I feel extremely sorry for those people who don't recognize what he is doing. I understand cold-calling and attempting to drive new business, but geez... insulting your potential clients isn't how I've ever won business over. He may be a good analyst, but Foley should really rethink allowing him to call strangers and drum up new business.

  Foley received our info after we applied for our DOT#.
  Daniel H. constantly sending emails using tactics to try and get
  me to hire their company!
  He also stated he works for DOT- seems to be a common line used at this company to scare you into hiring them!
  This is NOT a company I would EVER hire after being treated this way.
  I called and spoke with him about the ridiculous emails and was told " Do you need a screen shot for social proof". I hung up because he was so rude he then called back to back and I would not answer... VERY PROFESSIONAL, DANIEL! I had to block his number.

Foley is not a part of the DOT, but we do offer a software platform to streamline the work of maintaining DOT regulations.   Thia corporation has been spam emailing and texting me. I ignore them because other that I know who knows law have dealt with them when they got their DOT# they ar an illegal entity seeking to collect information. SCAM COMPANY!

  We will remove your email and phone number from our contact list. Foley is not a scam company, and is a well-established software company in the DOT compliance industry. We do call new DOT# holders, as that infomation is publicly accessible. I hope your next interaction with Foley is more positive.

  My employer insisted all drivers submit to Foley, but Foley never had my information, so I couldn't proceed.
  I was later told the operations manager "didn't want you to be successful" at the Foley process, and may have deliberately typo'd my information. If your SSN or birthdate don't match up, it's impossible to correct it. I have had past employers typo my birthday in two different ways...
  I decided to retire; my Social Security keeps me afloat. Whatever the truth of the situation is, I'll never know.

  They were ok to start up my business but after you get going you don't really need them. They attempt to charge you double for them filing paperwork that you can do yourself for almost little to nothing. They won't even tell you that. Then they categorized my company the same as other companies which use certain licenses that I don't need. Get in and get out with them. And the customer service is hard to reach and very rude.

  They have run us around for 3 weeks and made us buy books that have nothing to do with our business! We had to update our address and it was supposed to be submitted the same day and here it is a week later and they hadn't done it. They lied to us continuously and we are tired of it. The service sucks!!!!!!! The workers suck!!!!!

  Stein R****** did a great job and is still easy to reach and quick to serve. I recommend Stein and Foley with out reservation for your compliance needs.
