    Absolutely SCAM. I had similar experiences as most other reviews -- they wanted to collect tax for a city that I left years ago for something I didn't do. DO NOT PAY!!!

    I received a letter for a bill 15 years ago. How long was this company sitting on this? The state of CT needs to do something about this company, they are clearly running a scam and using the tax system to strong-arm people. These tactics need to stop. It's absurd that have to provide documentation on a bill I never knew I owed for a vehicle and place I have not owned or lived in for over 15 years.

    Completely unhelpful and bonus...near scam. We moved from ** over 12 years ago to ** and registered our cars in **. But just received a letter from this company claiming we owe car registration taxes for the last twelve years for **. When we called them, they indicated that the burden of proof is on us and that we are to provide documentation in writing to them.

    They overcharge with tremendous amounts of fees. If there is a problem with the billing and or dispute they ignore and you have no recourse. I will be bringing a bill to the floor to get rid of this company as well as its strongarm illegal fee tactics. Also, the envelopes that arrive in the mail to tell you about any billing look like junk mail an obvious technique in hopes of people throwing it out and then collecting more fees as time goes by. Very deceptive collecting practices. They also will not return any calls again in hopes of more time and more interest and more fees being added to the collection account specifically municipal accounts. I will bring this to the Attorney General's attention as they have a monopoly in Connecticut which is against the law. They are the sole collection agency and are ****** people for money it's disgusting and My class action lawsuit as well as the proposed laws will end this type of business model. Absolute scam collection agency.

    Seems like a scam! I received a collection letter for a parking ticket in a state I've never been to in a car I've never owned. NOT ME. The name on the letter is not even my full name. They ask for back up documentation to prove my dispute. I will not send my driver's license, nor any other personal identifying information to a company I have no idea who they are, or if they are legitimate. How can I have a ticket that is not even me? SCAM. Reference #********
