I purchased two items for a gift from Baribault Jewelers in Glastonbury. I contacted their "Customer Excellence Team" the next day to research a possible error in the price I was charged when I received a catalogue from the brand name I purchased showing the same model number item with a much lower "suggested retail price." After reviewing my scanned and emailed receipts, the "Customer Excellence Team" said the item should have been $25.00 (I had been charged $60.00) but because they could not process refunds, referred me to the store for the refund. They said the store would contact me. The store contacted me by telephone and stated that they would not give the refund. Their reasons were nonsensical. They said they paid more than the "suggested retail price" for the item. They said I should not have paid if I didn't like the price. They said I could get the gift back from the person I gave it to and bring it back for a refund! I don't understand what kind of business model this store has if they do not listen to their own "Customer Excellence Team" as listed on their own website as a contact for any problems. I am disappointed that the store would lose a customer for such a small refund. I would not recommend this store and will not shop at this store again.
