Date of transaction: 12-8-2023 Amount: $37.00 Purchased two booklets (20 stamps each) of first class Forever stamps. When I got home, I reviewed the purchase receipt and realized that the UPS Store charged a surcharge of $5.30/per booklet, and that I overpaid a total of $10.60 more than what the post office would have charged for the same purchase. Since the stamps are NOT designated NR (i.e., not refundable) on the UPS receipt, I returned to the store within the hour for a refund and they refused to allow it. They said their system could not handle a refund for this purchase and therefore the stamps were nonrefundable. I indicated that no where on the receipt were these stamps noted as nonrefundable but that did not matter. They were rude and when I asked who I could talk to further about this, they told me to call their corporate headquarters. When I got home, I called corporate and filed a complaint. During that conversation, I asked the representative if I should file a BBB complaint and she recommended doing so.Customer response
