    On Friday, July 15, I purchased a box of chocolate dipped strawberries from Edible Arrangements (**** **** **** * ********** **). The order number was ***********-1. The order was placed on July 15 for a pick-up on Monday, July 18 (my wife's birthday). The order was for $36.49. I arrived on Monday, July 18, and picked up the order in a timely fashion. I was unable to inspect the order upon pick-up, because it was packaged in a fashion that did not allow for inspection to take place. About 20 minutes after I picked up the order, I presented it to my wife as a gift. She opened the box, and immediately noticed that most of the strawberries were very dark, and beginning to rot. She touched one, and it clearly was well past being ripe. I looked at the package myself, and to me, it was obvious that the fruit was rotting. I called the Edible Arrangements location, and the representative asked me to bring the order back to the store, which I immediately did. When I arrived, the Manager (Ashley) looked at the fruit, and took it to the back. A few minutes later, she returned, and said that she inspected the fruit, and it was, "fine." Immediately, I looked at other strawberry orders that were refrigerated and on display, and it was clear that this order was not "fine." The order I received (and I do have many pictures) was rotting, while the strawberries on display were not. Ashley was incredibly rude. She denied me a refund, and offered to allow me to order another item with different fruit. I explained that it was my wife's birthday and a new order for a different day did not help. She then offered me a store credit, but said that I had to use it by the end of August. This makes no sense. If there was nothing wrong with the order - per Ashley - why would a store credit expire next month? I then left the store, completely dissatisfied. This is not right. They sold me a product that was rotten, and refused to offer a refund for their bad work.
