    I hired R&R based on a friends recommendation. We needed to have the bushes around the house taken out and the lawn scraped, front and back, and new loom brought in and seeded. This was originally supposed to happen the last week of April. Then was pushed to the first week of May, then didn't actually happen until the 3rd week of May. By the time the grass was to be planted, it's now end of May and into June. I spoke to him about how hot the sun is in the front of the house, which is a pretty good sized area, (at least 8+ hours) but he reassured me that it would be fine. He said, "be sure to water morning and night." The back gets a little more shade, so wasn't too worried there. We watered morning and night for about 3 weeks and we started to see grass grow. I did reach out again and asked, are you sure its going to be ok? It seems really dry. He said water a little more. We have a well, so watering was becoming a real concern. I asked if I should rake it because it rained once and seemed to pool the seed. He said "you can but I wouldn't worry too much." By the end of June, the so called grass, in front and back, seemed to change and take on a lot of weeds and in another couple of weeks it all turned to crabgrass. This was not the nice lawn that we had been told we would have. I reached out to him again, and asked if he would come by to look at the lawn and retouch with more seed if necessary. He said he would because "he liked me" but never showed or called to say he couldn't come by. I called again, and when I really started to press him about things, he started giving me a list of his expenses and how much his stuff costs. At this time, he did not offer any suggestions or to return to fix it. After we spoke, I hung up and was very disappointed. I paid $3700 to him when he finished, but never expected the lawn to be so bad. And because the lawn was so bad, we have since had someone else redo the lawn.
    I am requesting $1800 to resolve this matter. I feel its fair
