11/04/2022 Mr. Bouley did not complete my ceiling for the $475 I paid him and instead said he was charging me for our corresponding emails. Mr. Bouley installed an outdoor sensor light for $100 (which he claimed he quoted between $135-$185.) that never worked and purchased it without my OK first and never gave me a receipt. Mr. Bouley charged me $152.50 for mats on my deck that he bought and installed without my OK first (which looks quite unsatisfactory) and never gave me a receipt. Mr. Bouley complained that I switched out some projects (he quoted me for railings that no longer were in stock but found some for an extra $500, which I could not afford being on disability, so I had to forfeit that project for another). Still, I paid him for any changes made. Although, he never completed painting under my deck railings or left me with paint, which he said he would. Now, I am left with no match if I need to paint any projects on the house in the future. Mr. Bouley was belligerent and didn’t like that I questioned some of his work, and he informed me that “it gets on his nerves” and made other unkind statements. After his more than once surprising treatment, I eventually had a dispute with him and told him I no longer required his services after he completed my ceiling. But he left after the former project without my knowing or checking his work. The following day, Mr. Bouley left me an illegible handwritten paper invoice on my deck chair and did not sign our second and last contract, which I requested on more than one occasion. He also left me an awful note on the back of the invoice. I then emailed him a very dissatisfied and disgusted email about his behavior. I informed him I wanted a reimbursement, which he refused and continued calling me terrible things. Albeit, his son was very professional. I found similar complaints about Mr. Bouley on several websites. I am looking for Mr. Bouley to reimburse me for the $727.50 loss, and I hope you can help me.
