The owner of Greenwich Construction emailed me on 8/21/23 saying "Filing a complaint with inaccurate information, with the BBB does not really motivate us."  Essentially a threat to not continue to work on completing the project. He neglected to mention what information was inaccurate and then, when I asked him to provide me with what he felt was inaccurate information, he was unable or unwilling to do so. Greenwich Construction was supposed to have completed this project months ago and have shown, time and time again, that they are incapable of completing our project. Therefore we have officially fired them today.

Regarding *** ******* complaint against our performance or commitment it is without merit.

It is true that the delivery was late. This was due to supply chain issues with *******.

Yes, it is true that we have had technical difficulties in starting the generator.

We have consistently been working closely with our highly trained Sr. Technicians, who have installed 100’s of generators. as well as the technical teams at *******.

Through our continuous efforts and communications, we isolated the problem. We hired an engineer at our expense to work with *** ** and ourselves, to verify/confirm gas pressures being provided are sufficient for this size generator. We have reassured him many times that we are 100% committed to getting his generator up and running. He has not been both uncooperative and belligerent.

We have extensive emails between our office and *** ***** discussing his concerns and our willingness to make all necessary repairs so that his ******* generator is functional.

We had communication with *** ***** on Friday September 22 and again on Monday September 25th, and at that time he agreed to us scheduling a visit to site on Friday September 29th at 8:30AM, with our team, John M***** (site management), and the engineer. On Thursday evening September 28th via email at 4:35PM, he fired us without explanation. *** ***** has refused to cooperate, by allowing us on the premises to do the analysis. Even though *** ***** was rude, we are still committed to solving this issue for his company.

Please look at Greenwich Power System’s ratings and you’ll see that we have very high satisfaction ratings with our customers.

Thank you and please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

    Respectfully,

    Louis V** *******

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

Mr. V** ******* is lying. The only factual statement in his response is that I fired him in September 2023 but I provided plenty of reasons.

Please note that the contract for this project, which included not only the purchase of the generator but the licenses and permits to hook it up, to actually hook it up and get it started, and perhaps most importantly to complete the due diligence of ensuring that our infrastructure, ConEd's gas and our equipment all would work copacetically with the new generator. None of that happened over the course of 15 months from the start of the project. Mr. V** ******* refused to get permits. He refused to work with ***** and even threatened to work slower on the project as a result of me making a BBB complaint. I have all of this in writing.

The issue is very simple. I started this project in August 2022 with Michael C****** who at the time worked for GPS. He had from August 2022 to August 2023 to figure out what was necessary for the generator to get hooked up and started. He never did that. And so now, on October 6 of 2023, we still don't have a working generator because no one at GPS did their job.

    Sincerely,

    ******* *****
