9/19/22- crew came to trim tree branches; while cleaning up they broke the gate exiting the yard. they attempted to repair it but the gate would not open/close properly and kept falling apart which caused concern for the safety of our 3 dogs. 9/19/22-10/14/22- calls, texts and emails were sent; there was no response from Brian or Omar until I said I was going to have another company come and replace the gate and that I would forward the invoice to JJBM 10/14/22- Omar called me and we made arrangements for him to replace the gate on Monday 10/17/22. 10/17/22- My husband and I were at work. Omar and his crew came to replace the gate. He called me to ask me where **** ***** was to go buy the materials needed. There was no communication until he was finished and he called to tell me he was leaving. We did not consent to the digging up the yard nor was that possibility ever discussed. When I returned home, I was devastated to find a huge dirt pile left behind my garage, the broken gate was left in the yard, a large area of our yard dug up to allow the gate to swing open into the yard because the wrong size gate was installed. The photos do not fully show the extent of damage done to our yard. There is a 2" step down into our yard and the dirt hole left behind measures approx 7' x 7'. I called Omar to express my concern and asked when he was coming back to finish and clean up the mess he left. Omar told me he was not coming back. I have sent texts and photos to Brian and Omar and have left messages for 4 days and have received zero response. The only solution acceptable is to fill the hole with the dirt pile that was left in our yard, plant grass, and replace the gate with one that is the proper height to open without having to dig 2" down, They also need to remove the old gate and any other materials. We were going to be billed $350. We have not received an invoice and we have not made a payment at this time. We should not have to pay someone else to fix their mess.
