Good evening I went to Russell Speeder's Car Wash - ******* ** for a car wash and this was my first time there
I got home and noticed that my rim is damage on the drivers side front, resolution would be for them to replace my rim. I just bought this car and have no other damage to it.Business Response

I have contacted *** to come to the car wash to provide video proof that she left the car wash with no marks on her rim. I would like to apologized for the inconvenience that she has gone through but the damage did not happen at Russell Speeders car wash in ******* on *** ****** ******* She can come down anytime, I am here 6am to 430pm Tuesday through Saturday. If she comes outside of that time frame anyone can provide the proof because I have also saved the footage to our store tablet so she can view the footage.Initial Complaint

We have just cancelled this SO CALLED "ACCOUNT" which we never signed up for. In November of 2024 we had one car wash at Russel Speeder (RS) in ********** **. We wanted only one, onetime car wash. We had overlooked the auto debits from our account until today when a new charge appeared on our bank account. We now see that we have been charged for the last four months this same $40.41. Not once did we return to R.S. since the first wash. Staff at R.S. did not indicate that this would be a recurring charge. We view these unapproved charges to be a theft of funds from our account and will proceed accordingly through the court system for reimbursement, plus damages for this fraudulent practice. This "practice" is well documented at the BBB and will support our claim in court. You have the obligation to reimburse our account for these unapproved charges or face the consequences.Business Response

Numerous attempts to cancel membership on website was unsuccessful. Went personally to business location to explain my situation and gave the business all necessary information. I rarely use a car wash to clean my car but used the wash on **** * ****** in ***** last fall. While in the car wash, I heard a loud noise and something hit the side of my car, breaking the outside passenger mirror and denting the window trim. I had to pull back around to tell the attendant and ask them to get the broken pieces from within the car wash. It was actually the General Manager working that day who took down my information and said she would review the tape and contact your repair shop. I have been trying to get in touch with her since (via phone messages and emails) and I get no response. Per my repair shop estimate, the fix will be ~ $1102 and I would like this taken care of.Business Response

I had signed up for the wash pass. Once I moved, I needed to cancel my membership. I cancelled my membership online on four seperate occasions. I have still gotten charged multiple times! The charges seem to fluctuate and do not make sense. The price is going up every month and I feel taken advantage of. I do not know what else to do to get this recurring charge to end.

Hi Team,
I was forced to provide my debit card while taking a one month car wash. Later I never provided my card details or asked for subscription. I never get any acknowledgment from them regarding this amount deduction from my account. I never used car wash. They continuously deducted four times from my account. How can be this possible? Asking for a debit card and charging directly without any acknowledgment? I feel really sad for this. I need my money back.

On 11/16/24 I went to Russell Speeders in ********* ** for the first time. The attendant asked if i wanted to enroll in the membership and mentioned that it wasn't necessary. I declined the membership and selected the cheapest/most basic wash. Today I am reviewing my bank statements and noticed that regardless of me declining the membership, I was enrolled anyway and charged $28.70 on 12/18/24. This is very sneaky. I went to the ********* location and was forced into a membership i didn't want being told I could cancel after signing up and not be charged again. The next month I was charged for a membership I went back to tell them this was supposed to be canceled and it wasn't even being charged from the correct location making this a disaster. They have no information on me and still a month later have not fixed it, resulting in another charge. Their regional manager was supposed to reach out and solve this and has not. On top of this I can't even use the car wash because the sticker they gave me doesn't even work!! I emailed her this afternoon (attached too) to see if there could be another name for an account or another credit card that is being charged. I will call her tomorrow morning unless she calls me today to find out more details. Russell Speeders is charging me for a monthly subscription I did not sign up for or agree to. I don’t know which car wash it was I drive all over the country.
The first charge I see is in September for 10.62 and says ******* **. Then they charged again at the beginning of the month 28.70 for two months.Business Response

I purchased a single car wash from Russell Speeder’s car wash on ***** ** *********** over a year ago and was charged 39$ dollars. I was shocked when I saw this on my bank statement. I figured it was a one time charge. The next time I tried the car wash I complained to the manager and they gave me a free 10$ car wash. Just today 11/7/2024 I happened to notice a 39$ charge to my account from Russell speeder’s car wash. I took a look as far back as my banking mobile app would allow and apparently Russell Speeder’s car wash has been taking this money out of my account every month between the 2nd and the 10th for well over a year! I NEVER wanted a monthly car wash program from them or anyone else. Im out hundreds of dollars as a result. And would love to stop this from happening and recover my loses.
