I'm filing this complaint on behalf of my Mother in Law ******** ****** (because she is not very confident in computer use) last june ******** hired 'Bucky's everything transportation' to move her and her belongings from California to Colorado by a specific date. Nick agreed and accepted payment of $500. After some delays in service that put her in jeopardy of overstaying she was told she would need to pay an extra $300. This was both too expensive and exasperating and so the service was mutaually canceled. Nick agreed to refund the $500. My mother in law was forced to leave behind all but a few items and arrange last minute transportation for herself. (I can not stress enough how much she lost because she couldn't move it, it breaks my heart). Following the move she contacted Nick several times about the $500 refund which he agreed to repay. He has not yet refunded the money and has stopped answering Madeline's calls or texts. I myself have tried to reach out to him and give him the opportunity to respond but he is ignoring us both now. In summary, he agreed to move her for $500 and failed, he agreed to return the $500 and hasn't, and will not now answer any calls or texts concerning this. I myself think he is also responsible for causing her to leave behind all of her possessions, but she would be satisfied with just the return of her money.
