I was referred to this veterinarian Dr. Allison B*****. I contacted Crossroads Animal Hospital on 25 March 2023 via email asking them about their process of assisting with blood samples and an international health certificate to get my dog back to South Africa with me in May 2023. In the email she provided me with a lot of information and two estimations, and as she sounded like she was knowledgable and has done this previously I went ahead and scheduled the initial wellness exam with the blood draw sample with her. 04/05 we had the above mentioned appointment. First time they struggled to get a blood sample from my dog. She also provided him with his last set of vaccinations and feces sample. During the appointment she admitted she has never done this before and this is her first time. After the appointment I went ahead and paid her $575. 20 minutes after I left her office she contacted me via messaging stating that the blood sample was taken to early and it will not fall within the 30 day timeframe we had. I said okay we will come in a week later, and I will make arrangements (I do not have a car so I rely on friends who can take me places). On 04/11 we went in for the second sample whereby the vet was not present and only the vet technicians helped us. Again they struggled with getting a blood sample. Then she contacted me stating that they have contaminated the sample and we will have to come in again for another sample. So on 04/18 I went in again whereby again the vet technicians took the sample, and again struggled with getting a sample. On 04/27 she informed me that the package has not arrived in Belgium and it is my responsibility to contact them. Fedex informed me that the package did not follow Belgium import requirements and was sent back to the U.S. When I informed her of this she first stated that I needed to pay the new delivery fee, and then later she informed me she will not be working with me anymore and she will only refund me $263.
