I was referred to ********************* of Vaso Glass by a friend. We met and designed a shower glass door together making it clear from the outset that I wanted a moveable transom above the door. Even discussed the reason being a viable method for venting a steam shower. When time to install the glass came around, he rescheduled 3 if not 4 times. After installing the door finally, my wife asked him why the transom doesnt move. He lied to my wife saying I changed the plans to a fixed transom. She couldnt get a hold of me at work, so she payed the bill. I later found out that not only was the transom wrong, but the side piece was bowed 1/2 from being too large to fit the space. Also the transom hinges were chrome vs the Brushed nickel agreed upon and that was used for the rest of the door hardware. The door was also not leveled in the cavity. After speaking with 2 other companies, there were serious errors with the glass installation noting as well the items described above. Likely the hinges were chrome because he couldnt get a fixed transom connector. He even told me in text that he accidentally received moveable hinges and needed fixed. I wasnt sure what part of the door he was referring to, but of course the transom was moveable. Thats what we designed it for. Problem is he ordered the glass incorrectly and the moveable hinges would not line up. He then set out to install whatever he had. Knowing it was wrong. When I asked to fix the problem- He first said he would come out to look at it, then an hour later said he spoke to his attorney friend and would simply file a lien on my property to collect the check I cancelled. I received lien notice two days ago. His intent is not to perform professional work, but to force payment by threat of lien. I have been a tradesman for 20 years. Never have I seen a business operate in this manner. He refused to correct his work, accused me of being on the spectrum among many other childish/snarky insults. Run from this company.
