  Zed ****** gave us an estimate of $2200 to trim our two cottonwood trees. He asked for money down so we gave him a. $1000 deposit on Sept 5, 2025 He proceeded to took down one large branch from our cottonwood tree. And started to prune the maple tree in the front and I asked him if he would go ahead and remove the whole tree for an extra $200 and he came September 7, 2025 by himself. As he finished the tree, he said this was a lot of work. I need $350. he required us to pay him and so we did. On September 11, he arrived here with a worker and said that he would like to get a bucket truck and would I split the cost with him it would be $300 to put towards a bucket truck to do the rest of the trees, he left to get the truck and then returned and said oh there was a mistake. They dont have a truck and he would not give me back my $300. He asked if he could leave his work trailer here and his work equipment, and he would come back the next day. We have texted back-and-forth and hes made every excuse as to why he could not return or return my deposit so hes abandoned his work trailer and his work equipment here since September ******************************************************************************************************************************* the back of our truck onto our property.

  As we approach spring and yard clean up I want to warn everyone about Zed ****** Expert Trees. He was recommended by someone my husband works with, unfortunately he is a thief. He initially gave us a quote of $1750. After the first day he asked to be paid $750, which we gladly paid. Then he failed to return several different times. When he did finally return he called me during the day and said he was here finishing it was more work than he anticipated and requested the total amount be $2000, which I agreed to. He called later that day implying he was done (my error I did not explicitly ask if he had completed everything!), I paid by CC the remaining $1250. When I got home from work my yard was destroyed and he was not done. Several more telephone calls and text messages to him, several times he promised to return the next day to finish, 4 months later and our yard is still a mess. Do yourself a favor and do not hire him. I wish I had done my research, I have found many other complaints online about him doing the same to other people.
