    The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved.  We are providing a summary of the government's allegations, which have not yet been proven.  David Aaron Kushnir has been charged with theft of gold, jewelry and money from eleven customers at his Thornton jewelry store.  He is charged with a single count of theft up to $100,000.  The charges allege that Kushnir defrauded customers after they brought their jewelry to him for repair or consignment sale as well as selling fake diamonds to three customers.
