    After travel to 80 countries over several decades, this is the first time we have ever had an issue with a stay. This was a 2 week stay. We arrived to a filthy and unsafe place for us and our 3 young children. Below are a handful of the issues we encountered. We notified them about these issues on the 2nd day of our stay there. They fixed one switch (which took three days and several visits) and a TV issue. And even to do that it was highly disruptive and disturbing during our vacation because we had to leave the unit and they were slow to communicate and resolve things. -they intentionally used a picture not associated with the unit on the website listing, which was the only reason why we booked the unit. This helped them charge a higher rate for the unit. They should issue a full refund for this fraudulent action alone. - the switch for the master bath vent was broken when we arrived and stuck in the ‘on’ mode so we had to sleep through this extremely high noise the first night from the vent fan. - we found someone else’s used contact lens on the floor (pictures attached) - we found someone else’s nail extension on the floor - the stove didn’t work the first two days - the bathroom has mold in the shower and looked so bad we had to wear flip flops to shower - electrical outlets lacked a cover plates required by code and put our kids lives in danger - several bugs were in the unit - the dishwasher leaked a gallon of soap bubbles twice (see pictures) - there is so much filth and dust in the unit that all five of us got sick and started sneezing all the time and we avoided being inside except to sleep We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and this property completely ruined it. And we paid them almost $5,000 to stay there. Sadly it has now been 10 days and they are acting like nothing was wrong & have not even applogized. We have given them proof of pictures, phone calls, texts, etc. that we complained during our stay.

    I would put 0 stars if able to. This company lists condo's trough ****. We booked our condo. We were told that we needed to put 1/2 down at booking. They took the FULL amount right away. 5 days later, they sent an email saying the condo was no longer available and offered us a condo which was 3 blocks from slope and our reservation had been ski in and ski out. I told them that was not acceptable. They said they would refund our money. I have this in an email and recorded phone call. They kept asking me to go on line and cancel reservation. I told them I would not do that because they could then keep a %. I did get the booking fee from **** but did not get my $13,000+ from Snowmass vacations. I just went on to their listings and found the condo we booked which IS available but the cost is double what we were offered and paid for. They obviously took our condo off to raise the price. We are STILL waiting for our money. This company was fraudulent in their dealings.

    Hello Kathy, In no way shape or form has there been any misconduct. Snowmass Vacations is an agent for privately owned homes and condominiums. The nature of this relationship is that we cannot completely control the use of the accommodations we manage. Although problems are rarely encountered; we must reserve the right to change accommodations up to and including the day of arrival. In the unlikely event that we are not able to provide accommodations without an increase in rent, the guest will have the option of paying the increased rent, or the reservation will be cancelled and all deposits will be refunded to the guest with no further rights or obligations between Snowmass Vacations and guest. Efforts were made to find a suitable relocation option, however they did not meet your expectations. Each individual property reflects the tastes and lifestyle of the individual owner. Although each property will be completely equipped for rental purposes we cannot accept responsibility for aesthetic conflicts. A refund was shortly there after demanded and in order to process the full refund the reservation had to be cancelled. We had tried several times to indicate that the cancellation had to be initiated on your behalf, which caused a delay in the refund process. Please know that the refund has since been issued, once the cancellation was finally processed. We wish you the best in finding new accommodations that will better suit your needs. Kind regards,
