On February 26, 2022, I went to Le Nails for a full set of acrylic nails. I paid $45.00 for the full set of nails and polish. The very next day, I found terrible cracks in my nails and I then called *****, manager/owner of Le Nails. I explained what happened and he told me to come in that day to have it corrected. I explained that I live over 90 miles away. He said to call another day. I then texted him as requested and we went back and forth with either a refund or replacement set. We argued again about coming in. I explained that I only make it to Pueblo from Trinidad when I have a doctor's *********** or something important. I am a full time student and I also work parti-time so my personal time is very limited. Traveling to Pueblo is a bit much and I treated my to a new set of nails. FInally, we come to the conclusion that the next time I was in Pueblo, I would receive a free set of acrylic nails. My better judgement was very ***** with ******* promise, being that he was so combative. I made a special trip to Pueblo on March 27, 2022 even with the expensive gas prices to fulfill ******* promise. I called ahead of time and made an *********** for 1:00. I explained that he had promised me the full set of nails at no charge. He said to come and there would be no fee. I arrived at 1:00 as scheduled. ***** was at the front desk working on a lady's set of nails. We then became so nasty and absuive. He said that I would now have to pay because he doesn't believe in refunds and he is in the business of making money. I expalined that we had just spoke and he had promised. He became louder and more aggressive and told me to go away. I showed him the text message that promised the same things, he responded that I can't make him. I was basically crazy and I was a liar. At this point I just want the $45 refund and some kind of compensation for the extra trip gas mileage and some kind of apology for his disgusting behavior.
