    Went in to get an alignment and was told the tie rods are bad. Said they needed $100 deposit in cash only (should have been the first red flag) Got home and remembered we had the tie rods done by brakes plus fairly recently. Called brakes plus and was told that there was a lifetime warranty on the part so we were going to take it to them to fix. Called midtown to let them know and they refuse to give our deposit back. No work at all had been done by them and if it was shipping the part they were keeping the deposit for then I would understand but there is no way that the shipping was $100. Even if it had to be shipped back as well. Asked for shipping receipt from midtown as well and they could not provide.

    We have reached out to the customer and explained the process of the deposit and what the deposit secures. Midtown Alignment and Brake has offered to refund the one hundred dollar cash deposit and has waived the initial inspection fee. The customer plans to pick up the refund this upcoming Monday.
