I purchased a car from this dealership on 15MAY25. It starts intermittently and they have seen video of it not starting. I have asked for my money back minus the $3500 in fees that they charge to purchase the vehicle. They have refused. Their head mechanic, *****, has suggested that the car has a bad starter. They have also refused to replace it unless they can replicate the problem. I drive over 100 miles/day. They let it sit in the parking lot for a day or 2. It starts for them. It does not consistently start for me. It also has given me warning messages that the front collision is blinded. It does that during the day and also at night. They have offered me $6700 for a car that I paid $15,000+ for that only has 2000 additional miles on it. They have had the car so much to work on it that I am now losing time on the 90-day warranty they offer. They do not cover my rental fees getting to work while they have the car. They do not offer me assistance with figuring out the warning messages on the car. They do not let me speak to their GM, ***. They want me to let their mechanic drive it around and put miles on it but do not offer to track those miles and subtract them from my warranty. It has been a month and they have had the car 4 times for multiple days at a time with no resolution. They have seen videos of 3 different people trying to start the car and it failing to start. I either want a refund (I offered to let them keep the $3500 in fees they charge and just give me the $12,000 that they priced the car at), a replacement vehicle or- best option- repair the vehicle. Replace the starter like ***** suggested and fix the warning light issue. Cover my loss of the vehicle during the repair time or get the repairs done in one day. Be fair.Initial Complaint

I purchased a truck from this dealership on 2/10/2025. Signed all the paper work and purchased and extended warranty in addition to the dealership 90 day or 4000 mile limited warranty that I signed and agreed to In the paperwork. I drive the truck for about a month and I hear a ticking noise. I head down to a repair shop for diagnosis. On my way down there I start seeing intermittent smoke from tail pipe. Shop does inspection and even put bore scope inside engine to look at cylinders. They found that cylinder #6 is failing is from scratching and gouging of sidewalls. I have video and photos.I take that report to dealership and they come back with my extended warranty for ******* and say it will be covered. Mind you I'm still with in my 90 days and 4000 mile warranty from them that states they will pay repair for things listed. Manager comes in office while I'm making my first payment since I'm there and they made first payment while finance was being finalized. The guy is super dismissive and rude about the shops diagnosis. Says do you know these guys? Just cause they are *** certified and can pass a test doesn't mean I would want them work on my vehicle. At that point I left to take paperwork to repair shop. I have a feeling ******* will deny my claim as they never pay out on a claim like they say they do and what you pay for. They had hundreds of complaints for dening services. I paid an extra 5k for a warranty which wont take care of anything on top of dealership not honoring thier warrantyInitial Complaint

Hi, my name is ***** *******. I was at your 104th ***** autonation I purchased a Mazda. We had to wait for the repairs and new brakes. They ***************** *********) told me it was good to go. roughly 11:20 pulling out lot after being there since about 9:20amI picked it up 11/3/2024 and financed ***** started making a screeching noise, and then my brake pad fell off.I called autonation 11/03/2024 at ************ at 2:40pm to bring the car back. When I arrived at ***** Campainthe CSF said I heard your car when you came around, we will look at it.I was then told their service department was unavailable and I would have to remove the car from their lot and returnon Monday.Which I didn't understand why now that it's a safety concern. I expected because it means the contract is fraudulent. If not, they would have keptthe car and given me a rental or called an **** at no cost since they endangered lives.Especially since they sent me out in a car that was supposed to have a hundred and twenty five point inspection. THEN HAD ME SIGN SAYING IT WAS ******* **** ******* Ibanez signature was on it..That's an old brake pad, see picture attached.(Not a new brake pad so where is the part that was scanned it.I'm hoping they plan on paying for a tow truck since it's a dangerous vehicle that could have taken my life.I will also request that the mechanicwho worked on it not be the same. I also want the car lifted in frontof me and all of the new part boxes with the old parts in them.Contract should be rewritten as well. Since it was fraudulent and inaccurate.I had to sent it to the corp email because I was unable to locate the **Initial Complaint

Purchased a battery in January 2021 with a lifetime warranty. Recently the battery was checked and found to have a dead cell. When I called to claim my warranty this location said they dont service customer vehicles. Also another automation refused to honor the warranty. My complaint is mostly against this autonation, but the business as a whole as well.Initial Complaint

I purchased a vehicle from AutoNation on January 16th. AutoNation offers a five-day/250-mile money-back guarantee on financing for all of its used vehicles. Due to issues with my vehicle, I returned the vehicle I purchased on January 19th. When I returned the vehicle, I was told that AutoNation would pay off the loan I took out and that I should expect a refund of my deposit within ten days of January 19th. I did not receive a refund, so I contacted AutoNation via email, phone, and chat. They would not return my calls, messages, or emails. I reached out to their local dealership and national support line. I called the company that my loan was through yesterday, and they told me that they had yet to receive any communication from AutoNation and that my loan was still active. Today, February 10th, I cooresponded with an AutoNation Director over email after calling the dealership several times. AutoNation failed to properly file my refund, which is documented in a screenshot their director, *********************** sent me. They have yet to refund me or provide any documentation that they have appropriately handled my loan. This is likely a violation under the Deceptive Trade Practices Act and fraudulent. I want to ensure that AutoNation's negligence does not impact my credit score and that I am refunded the deposit they owe me.Business Response

Hello, My name is *******************, the General Manager with AutoNation *** ***** 104. I apologize for this negative customer experience as our ********************** mission is to deliver a peerless customer experience. This is why we offer our customers the option to return their vehicle if something changes. When this unit was returned on the evening of 1/19/23, we initiated the deal unwind process on 1/20/23, and our offsite shared services center competed the unwind on 1/24/23. The miss from our store was the timeline we quoted to the customer for the refund timing. The lender **** financial has a refund turnaround time of 2-3 weeks which is longer than some other lenders. We followed up with **** on 2/10/23 about the loan still being active and her refund for the down payment not being received. Our financial service director, *****************************, returned the money on her credit card 2/10/2023 when they spoke. Since then, the loan was paid off 2/15/23 and the customer is not responsible for any loan associated with this transaction.Initial Complaint
