I was referred to this clinic for a mammogram from my *********************** provider (**). My referral notes that it is coming from my VA PCM. I checked in to my appt using my VA ID card. However, this organization billed *******. It has been 8 months, and I have called at least a half-dozen times to get this mistake corrected, and every time I am told that they fixed it. However, I am still being continually harassed with the bill and now being threatened with collections. This is not my problem to fix, and I am over calling your company monthly and being told it is fixed, only to be harassed with bills again. It's at the point that I am now due for my next mammogram, but I refuse to be seen at this clinic again, knowing this headache of a billing issue I will have to deal with. PLEASE fix this billing issue and cease the threatening collections emails, texts and letters.

I saw a new provider at ************************************* on 11/4/24 because I had to see a ** to get my meds refilled. When I got to the clinic I provided my current insurance because they said they only had my old one that expired in July. The front desk said they would update my insurance and took copies of my card. The doc also convinced me to get some vaccines, and did not explain they would cost $1,400 (which I later found out).11/19/24 I got a bill from them for my visit saying my insurance covered $0 and I owed $1,398 for my visit. My insurance covers visits/vax so I knew this was wrong. Here is the log of calls I have made to their billing department - ************** - trying to fix this:11/19/24 9:50 am I dont remember who I spoke to but I told her that there was no way my insurance covered $0, upon looking she said they billed my old insurance that expired in July. I once again provided my new insurance, and she said shed re-bill.12/12/24 9:30 am I called again since there had been no updates to my bill. I spoke with Catalina - she said my new insurance was never in the system or billed (despite being told twice now that it was fixed). She said she will try billing my new insurance again. After I asked for any kind of proof it was being corrected she said there is no confirmation email she could send.1/7/25 2:18 pm I called again because I got an updated invoice from CommonSpirit saying not only did insurance cover $0 but now my bill is $1,407. I spoke with a girl named December who said they were missing the * in my insurance member ID number, and she is now trying to re-bill ******** this point I have owed $1,400 for two months and I have begun to panic that I will be sent to collections over an issue they will not resolve despite being provided my insurance at my initial visit plus 3 additional times. My info has somehow gotten lost/been incorrect each time I have followed up and I dont know what else to do to fix this. Please help.
