Eye Doctor gave me bad RX for 3 sets of lenses with 2 pairs of glasses. RX was not working for me. Office would not let me see doc and encouraged me to buy another pair which was wrap around -- they still didn't work. They still would not let me see doc. They remade one pair into distance only and they still did not work and I almost got into car accidents, so I went without glasses. Saw my long time doc in AZ who verified that I was given a bad RX, overcorrecting a stigmatism and of course, these would be dizzying and wouldn't work for me. I contacted their office and spoke with ******* **** who said they can’t do anything about it. I told her that this is not acceptable, and she should speak with the doc. He finally agreed to remake one of my pairs of glasses. However, she failed to tell me he only agreed to remake the ***** ***** because they do those in house. When I called before mailing back the glasses, I asked the person I spoke with if I could send in my sunglasses for remake, since I really have no use for non-sunglasses since I spend most of my time outdoors in the sun. She said it would not be a problem and I then mailed them in. When ******* got the glasses, she said they couldn’t remake them and would only be willing to do the ones they could do cheaply in house – I told her I was told either would work. She actually admits to her employee telling me the wrong thing in her email on November 1st – saying the person that told me that doesn’t have authority. I asked to speak with the doctor, and she refused to allow me to speak directly with him. The glasses she currently has there are the only ones that would be useful to me and those are the ones I would like remade, or I would like a refund of both amounts I paid for them since they gave me a bad prescription and it was bad business for them to disallow me to see the doc when I had problems or speak with him. I'm owed a refund for what I spent on unusable glasses.
