    I contracted with this shop to recover two loveseat cushions one of which was missing a cover and one which was damaged. The initial consultation was Jan. 24, 2022 when I picked out and paid for the fabric. I did not leave the cushions there but brought them back later when I was notified the fabric was in. At that time, ****** who does the upholstery work, asked if I had a cushion cover she could use as a pattern as I had only brought in the cushions themselves. I went back home and later brought back a cushion cover from a matching couch that had the same upholstery. When I picked up the finished cushions in early May, I asked for my cushion cover back. *** said she did not realize I wanted it back, that she had taken it apart use as a pattern to cut the new fabric, but that she had it, would reassemble it and get it back to me. I picked up the cushions and paid. I heard nothing from the shop so called on May 26th and spoke to the owner, *********************, who said he would speak to ***an about it and let me know. I've gone back and forth with **** since then but still no definitive answer. Last I spoke to him, he said that he thought they no longer had the cushion cover but wasn't sure again saying he would speak to ***an about it. I have heard nothing since. I would not care so much about the cushion cover except that the fabric matches the loveseat and couch, and is quality fabric that cannot be matched after all these years.. Also I am not sure communication is happening as ***an didn't hesitate to say it was there.
