Prices are deceiving!! I had a gift card for a 1 hour massage for $70. They did not honor that and still charged me an additional $70. The gift card clearly stated 1 hour massage. As it turns out, that is only an introductory price and since I had been there years ago they changed me $140. I will never go there again.Massage Heights Response

I got a contract for a year for massage services, my card was being charged $79.99 a month. I was 2 months in the contract because I am a travel nurse and move around quite a bit. I am moving to Savannah and there are no Massage Heights with 25 miles, I asked to cancel several months ago and no response. Fast-forward to Aug 10 I wanted to use my credits totaling in 2 hours plus some upgrades. I was told in order to use thr credits I have I would have to bring the account current in the amount of $240 and if I then canceled, I still wouldn't receive my money. Massage Heights is a complete rip off. They deduct money from your account and you cannot use the credits you have already paid form This is absolutely not good business practices. I wouldn't recommend any of the locations. They use bad business practices. Consumers need to continue to report this trash business for the games they like to play with the customers bank accounts.Review from Rachel R

WATCH OUT FOR THE SLEAZY MEMBERSHIP ADD ON!! THEY WONT STOP CHARGING MY ACCOUNT. I did not authorize this membership! I am disputing this charge. I had one massage in April, before my foot surgery. I am now disabled, and in a cast and can not walk properly. In 2017 a tumor was removed from my brain stem and I have 6 screws in my neck. Recently, I was found to have brain cancer... I am in the midst of MRIS and multiple doctor appointments.. Simply put.. I paid $36 at the time of service. I have not received service since. It all started because a friendly yet (manipulative) 18 yr old girl told me I should ****consider*** a 3 month membership for $40. I never agreed to anything. The associate did not discuss any binding contracts! I have been charged 139.98 since and I am told I am in a binding YEAR long “club”?? I have called the office 3 times asking for the manager and pleading for them to remove me! And here it is again, ANOTHER CHARGE. I am having brain surgery for Christ sake what kind of service is this! Also, I should not have to release one single medical record to be released from this automatic withdrawal! I never consented to this charge. UPDATE: I spoke with the Loveland manager today, and she was sarcastic and immature. She literally accused me of lying and told me I have to produce medical records in order to be immediately released! This company is a SCAM and not interested in health and wellness. I am being robbed at this point . Please NEVER forget this review.Massage Heights Response

Hello Ashley, Thank you for taking the time to speak with me yesterday. Regarding your complaint that you did not authorize your membership, you did call us on May 16th 2021 requesting to cancel your membership due to doctors' orders. The front desk associate you spoke to informed you that you could cancel immediately, with a doctor's note. At this time you were upset at being told you enrolled in a 12 month program and not a 3 month with $40 enrollment fee. You were not charged a $40 enrollment fee at the time of enrollment because you signed up for a 12 month membership for which the enrollment fee was waived. The front desk associate let you know that a manager was not available to speak to you at the time but could call you back. Both myself and the assistant manager tried to call you and left messages in regards to your account in addition to your contact request through our website the following day stating you did not authorize a 12 month membership as well as stating you would not provide a doctor's note to cancel. We did not hear back from you. Yesterday we received another contact request now stating, not that you did not authorize a 12 month membership, but that you did not authorize a membership at all, that you had come in for a 1 time service in April and were continually charged following the service, and that you were having brain surgery. I responded letting you know that as discussed when you called in May, we could do an immediate cancellation with a doctor's note as outlined in the 12 month membership agreement you signed in full. I also attached the membership agreement signed and initialed by you for your records. Shortly after sending you your agreement you called the retreat and spoke to me stating that we have been charging you for a membership that you did not agree to and that due to your medical condition do not want to continue to be charged for a monthly massage that you cannot use. Upon me telling you that you had signed your 12 month membership agreement in full, you then told me that our front desk associate who enrolled you in a 12 month membership coerced you into signing the agreement and were not informed what you were signing up for. I told you at that time that to address your concern that you were forced and coerced into signing the agreement, I could review the security cameras and figure out exactly what happened in the interaction if the person you spoke to behaved in a way that did not follow our code of conduct. I was able to review the security footage and you can be heard verbally agreeing to a 12 month membership, and can be seen going through and signing your membership documents in full. You also scheduled a future appointment with the massage therapist you saw that day which you both rescheduled, and later cancelled 15 minutes before your appointment time. As far as your statement that you should not have to provide medical records in order to immediately be released from your membership, as discussed on the phone with you yesterday, providing a doctor's note to cancel your membership within the initial term is outlined in the membership agreement you signed. I did let you know that we are not requesting any medical records, just a note from your doctor stating you can no longer receive massage and need no further information than that. It was not my intent to come off as sarcastic or immature, and I certainly did not accuse you of lying. We are simply bound to the membership agreement you signed when you enrolled as much as you are, and I was letting you know how to end your program in accordance with the contractual agreement you entered with us. If you would like to discuss this further, please reach out to me at ************. Cailyn
