Ms ******-****** booked, online, three nights lodging for: September 30, 2022, October 1, 2022 and October 2, 2022. She Pre-paid using her ********** Debit Card ending in ****, and authorized a total charge of $279.63 which was approved for: ********** ******** **** **** ********** ***** ********* ******** ***** ************ email: *****************************  Ms ******-****** received confirmation Number ********** as a Wyndham Rewards Member **********  Upon arrival at 4:55 PM, Friday September 30, 2022 she checked-in and was assigned to room 204. Without even bringing in her luggage, she called a local relative and was picked-up by that party to go to dinner at a local restaurant. Returning from dinner Ms ******-****** took her luggage to her room and began “occupancy”. She immediately noticed the exterior window to her room was open and she closed it, but the latch to lock it did not function. She called the front desk to alert the staff of the problem and requested a transfer to a different room which could be secured. She was told that no other rooms were available but a maintenance man would be sent up after he finished dinner break. Ms ******-****** waited for the maintenance man who arrived following his dinner break. She pointed out the issue of not being able to secure the window and that, as a woman traveling alone, this was a great concern. The man could not repair the latch but attempted to prevent the window opening by placing a metal strip in the track. When testing to see if this achieved the desired result, the metal strip bent and popped out of the track. Seeing this, Ms ******-****** made the decision to not stay in an unsecured room and began placing phone calls to attempt to locate another facility for her stay. Ms ******-****** requested a full refund and only had remaining nights credited, not the Friday in question. The next morning, the Manager, Mr. Avery Perkins, said no refund would be made, even though no service was provided.
