            Contractor replaced driveway without City permit, received stop work order and to remove the noncode project. Was given several chances to mitigate with me (homeowner) and the City but just told me that the City was harassing me. I received a courtesy summons from the City and acquired the ******** schematic that the contractor should have followed. He had not obtained a work permit until I demanded a copy of it after the project was completed and the stop work order was issued (he purchased the permit AFTER the work was completed). The City is replacing the concrete at my expense and I feel the contractor should pay the City cost instead of me. He told me that he had talked to the City and to ignore their warnings. He then said he would replace part of the cement and charge me another $900 to do that. AFTER the city started replacing the concrete, the contractor then said he would replace all cement to the original state and refund my money. Thats too late.He owes the City fee

            Not good!!After only 2 years 3/4 of driveway is pitted. I have used no rock salt. Most all the joints are cracked after just one year. *** will not come out to take a look at it.

            We've spoken with ********************* and told him after winter we would take a look at his driveway. We have had one of the worst ******* we've had in a very long time and have not been working for the past 3 months. We will look at the driveway and we will field test for chloride snow and ice products to see if they've ever been put on the driveway. We will be back to work in April and we will go look at the driveway. It's very unusual for concrete to spawl unless snow and ice products have been used. On our contracts it says in red that any use of these products can void the 1 year warranty. We will find out what the issue is and speak with the customer about it. -********************
