Absolutely horrible, total waste of money. Keep your $2000 for a one-year plan and put it in a savings account. If you need a repair, they more than likely won't cover things that are clearly covered in the agreement. These scummy scam artists should be shut down, I am working with local and state agencies to hopefully put these and other scamming companies like this out of business. They take your money and if things are not worded exactly right your claim will not be covered. The other reviews are definitely fake, this company is horrible.Autodyne Corp.

Were sorry to hear that youre dissatisfied with your contract. It appears there may be some misunderstandings regarding your coverage, and despite multiple attempts by our claims adjusters to explain the details, communication has been challenging.
To clarify, your contract does not include residential roadside assistance. It specifically provides emergency roadside assistance, which applies only when you are stranded away from home. Additionally, while it may seem like common knowledge, wiper blades are not listed for coverage. We denied these non-covered repairs but did approve and pay for the wheel bearing that failed, as it is a listed item under your contract.
Regarding your primary concernthe fuse box, also known as the ************************ Module (****) in Dodge vehiclesthis component is not covered under your contract. Our records indicate that you have contacted us multiple times, insisting that the **** and the Engine Control Module (***) are the same part. However, they serve entirely different functions. The *** is a computer module that manages engine performance, sensor data, and timing optimization, whereas the **** is essentially a fuse box. These are distinct components with different part numbersone is clearly listed for coverage, while the other is not.
We are not misinterpreting or twisting the terms of your contract. For example, water pumps are covered under your agreement. While *** refers to their water pump as a "coolant pump," we still approve the repair because it serves the same function. In contrast, your situation involves two separate parts with different purposes, not simply different names for the same component.
Our goal is to ensure you fully understand your coverage, and we are always happy to assist. However, we want to emphasize that helping you becomes extremely difficult when our adjusters are met with yelling and cursing while simply administering the terms of your contract. We are here to help, and respectful communication will allow us to better assist you.Review fromSara J

If I could give a zero, I would. My car has a warranty with autodyne and we are now going on the fifth engine!!!!! Now, that isnt autodynes fault, however they have refused to tow my car back to their preferred shop. They only covered 3K for a new engine. And now they will no longer help. I have had to call them multiple times with the same response of what essentially is my hands are tied and we cant help. MULTIPLE calls. When we initially had issues I was told I had to go to X shop. Then when I was annoyed after the 3rd engine literally exploded with my 17 year old driving on the freeway, I was told I was free to switch shops, but the warranty is with the shop they first made me use. Which basically means everything would then come out of pocket. This is a horrible worthless company what is simply a mom and pop shop that doesnt care about customer service whatsoever. They are now making the shop pay to tow it back. It is a warranty issue and now their hands are tied. Buyer beware- use the warranty company offered by your financed, not from any of the janky lots in longmont.Autodyne Corp.

****************, truly sorry to hear about your difficult experience. However, your situation is unique. AutoDyne works with all ASC certified mechanic and our customers have their choice of repair shops. We do have network facilities, shop we work with regularly, that provide wholesale pricing on parts and labor. For Autodyne and our customers. Initially, when you took your vehicle to **************, they quoted around $****** to repair the engine and you are correct, the particular contract you purchased has a Limit of liability for engine repairs, youd be responsible for $9,000 at Audi. Through our network facility we could help you save over $5,000 and you decided to take your vehicle there. Its very disappointing the engines that were installed failed and its the first time weve seen multiple failures on the same vehicle, in such a short amount of time. It seems something else might be causing the engine to fail, as you discussed with our claims department, multiple shops, online forums and Audi enthusiasts. Your preferred shop confirmed the installation was done correctly, after one of the engine failures. At this point AutoDyne had paid the shop, the Engine portion of your contract had met the Limit of Liability, you could not take your vehicle to another shop for AutoDyne to pay for another engine. Especially since all of our network facilities provide a 12-month ****** mile warranty on their repairs and the engine was still covered under the shops warranty. Empathetic to your frustration, after multiple engines failed we worked with the shop to be reimburse what we paid for the engine, so we could reallocate it to a shop of your choice as you requested. Our system shows your vehicle has been at your preferred shop since October 2022 and weve reauthorized your contracts Limit of liability for engine repairs. As for towing, your contract does provide emergency roadside assistance in the event you are stranded away from your home, which AutoDyne provided. It does not cover transporting from one shop to another shop or other non-emergency tows. Please let us know if there is anything further we can do to assist, we understand this is a difficult situation, as all car troubles are.Review fromMichelle P

Nothing but a high priced emergency roadside plan and even then it lacks in providing help. God forbid you need towing from home because its NOT covered. If you have catalytic converter problems NOT COVERED!! Or if you need new belts NOT COVERED!! Not sure exactly what is covered but its a waste of money. I suggest ******************** they have more coverage for those repairs needed.Autodyne Corp.

******** I'm sorry to hear your unsatisfied with your Powertrain Plus+ contract. Unfortunately, you are correct your contract does not cover Catalytic Converters or any other Emission issues, outside manufacture warranty on new vehicles no aftermarket *************** Contract covers these. It also does not cover normal maintenance items like belts, brakes, tires and other items that are listed as part of your vehicles normal maintenance schedule. Your powertrain coverage includes internal parts of your Engine, Transmission, Differentials, and Transfer case. As well as all your accessory items like the ***************** steering Pump, Ac compressor, Starter, Fuel pump and water pump. In addition to these covered items, we do offer "emergency roadside assistance", your contract specifically excludes residential tows, as it is not deemed an emergency since you are in the safety of your home. Our records do show we did provide roadside assistance when your vehicle had a flat outside a movie theater, this is an example of an emergency.Hopefully, this provided some clarification on your concerns. Please dont hesitate to call ************** ext. # 3 if you have any questions.Review fromJames T
