A wallaby has drown and a sloth has burned through Seaquest. the building is not well cared for and the animals even less so. I have serious animal welfare concerns, specifically for the Wallaby who looks very very ill. The poor animal has a tiny, gross enclosure and then gets put in a small dog crate with not enough room to stand up or move around. The crate was covered in urine and Im still very heartbroken just seeing it. Everything was extremely dirty, not sure if they were part of the exhibit or not but I did see roaches crawling around also. All the tanks had very green murky water and fish could only be seen when they were close to the glass. The conditions were not advertised like the photos on the website. A huge health violation.

Hello, my name is ***********************, I wish to respond to the letter sent to you from ***************. *************** references two incidents that happened two and three years ago to a sloth and a wallaby. These instances were resolved by governing agencies and the local court system (in which we were found not guilty). All of our enclosures exceed regulations set forth by the ***** and we have unscheduled visits from the **** and other agencies to make sure we are in compliance. Her report that a Wallaby lives in a dog crate is incorrect. That is an area that he can retreat to if he wants. That kennel area is cleaned two times daily, and more if needed. I am sorry that *************** did not attempt to speak to a member of our staff so that she could receive insight as to the exact care of our animals. We have a strict no refund policy and will not be making an exception in this instance.
