I purchased a truck from AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Southwest on December 13, 2024, while visiting ********. I am an Illinois resident, and since ******** and ******** do not have a tax reciprocity agreement, the dealership agreed to include Illinois sales tax in the deal and issue a check payable to the Illinois Secretary of State. That check was never provided, and I am now unable to register the vehicle in ******** without paying taxes againessentially being charged twice.I have called and emailed the dealership multiple times with no response. I also contacted AutoNation Corporate. I am requesting that the dealership issue the missing tax check or provide tracking info if it has already been sent.Resolution Sought:I want AutoNation to immediately:Issue the check for the Illinois tax amount they included in the financing and send to my home address. Provide proof that the check was sent (including date and tracking number).Failure to do so is preventing legal registration of the vehicle in my home state and may result in further legal ***********: ****** ******** Email: ******************* Phone: ************ VIN *****************

Vehicle repair service performed 4/11/25 Electrical failure was caused by a dealer installed *** tracking module for theft deterrent. ********* Care Lifetime warranty is exclusionary, and this is not specifically mentioned as excluded, though it is stated dealer-installed items are typically covered.Autonation repair facility claimed the warranty authorization was denied. I spoke with support from warranty provider, and they did not receive a submission for this repair. I was misled in paying a diagnostic fee of $499.90 which I believe should have been covered, but due to the repair facility's negligence in submitting the claim and lying about it, I was required to pay this bill for return of my vehicle.Attached is warranty coverage, repair invoice mentioning the tracker, photo of the *** tracker module removed by the repair facility, and original dealer vehicle purchase agreement with *** tracker listed.

I purchased a used car from AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - a 2014 Dodge Charger - $18,679.65 on 6/22/24. The car would not start in the parking lot after a test drive which we only figured out because paperwork took so long. Their organization had a breach of customer info. They agreed to repair the starter in the car. Upon satisfactory repair, they agreed to deliver the car to ******, NE, at their expense. After negotiating they would pay for delivery, they then charged me for delivery on a second set of paperwork in the amount of $799 which is inappropriate. I have had to call and email several times to obtain receipts. They delivered the car to ****** with no in-transits and have been beyond exceptionally awful with which to work. The car is paid for in full, but I have not received a sales tax receipt OR title OR communication on how and when the title will be handled. I bought the car for my nephew for a school and work car. Without a title and sales tax receipt, I am unable to properly gift the car to my sister for use by my nephew. Initial paperwork started on this on 6/22/24, and I still have nothing. I should have walked out the door when the car wouldn't start, their "system had a breach", and their customer financial services person told us he hated his job, didn't care if he worked there, and treated us like a rug on the floor. I am owed $799 for delivery they agreed to provide at their cost then the financial person slipped the charge onto the retail purchase agreement; a sales tax receipt for the vehicle I purchased; and a title for the vehicle I paid for in full a month and a half ago. They have not tried to resolve the problem. They have acted like they do not have to do their jobs and honor the agreement on email. They are absolutely rude, and it is definitely their responsibility to provide me with the above. I hope none of them ever sell another car to anyone else. I have been to the **** and they have nothing from the dealership.

I purchased a vehicle from Autonation on 5/13/2024 and when I purchased the vehicle the windshield was cracked. The salesman assured me that an appointment could be scheduled to get it fixed and automation would pay for it. It is now 7/8/2024 and I have still not been able to get the windshield replaced due to no one from autonation calling the windshield company to get an appointment scheduled. I have called autonation numerous times and have talked to multiple people and still nothing. Every time I call I just get sent to different voicemails and I call basically every day.

Had my Vehicle towed 3 times for over heating from March 20th to April 6th On March 20th the vehicle overheated, leaked coolant and was towed in and given back to me on March 24th stating they could not find the cause and thought it was an electrical issue, and not to be concerned. On March 28th the vehicle overheated and leaked coolant once again. They stated it was a thermostat issue and fixed it and I was given the car back again on April 3rd. The again on April 6th the vehicle overheated and was leaking coolant once again. At this point they stated the problem had progressed far enough that the engine was ruined and quitted me ****** for a new replacement or ****** for a used replacement. They would not accept any responsibility for the damage and stated it was an issue that just needed to come to lite. I cant help but think having the vehicle in 3 times and overheat 3 times was the cause of the problems, and don't feel its right ive been left with trying to figure out a solution for a problem I brought to them and paid them to fix multiple times

Me and my Girlfriend bought a 2021 jeep rubicon 4xe with ***** miles on it when we originally looked at the vehicle it hadnt been detailed yet because it was a recent trade in so after working on a deal and agreeing to buy the vehicle we were promised that it would be detailed because it was honestly filthy which is really surprising for such a new jeep we let them keep it for a day while they were working on getting it done when we went back the next morning to pick it up all excited the vehicle looked like a toddler cleaned it. We had take it back three times to get it right and then once we brought it home we had to go over and just touch up a bunch of things which was not Detail. it was just a car wash practically, not even a week later Car started sound like something was popping in the front end suspension so we decided to take it back to the dealership to see what it was and after looking the front sway bar was touching and grinding on the front coil springs just on one side the service advisor advises that this is normal being the multiple off-road trucks and jeeps I immediately knew it is not so they schedule an appointment. We dropped it off because they need it for day. Take a look at it and take care of it. we end up picking it up at the end of the day with no call no text message or no emails returned to us after multiple attempts to contact them and we arrive there to pick it up and still sitting on the rack untouched all service advisor besides one guy which ended up pulling out the Jeep for us and told us somebody will contact us tomorrow with more information the next morning still no contact no phone call no text message no emails which I was forced to drive by the dealership and physically find someone to talk to at that point I was told that they were gonna need it for a lot longer time to investigate and see what was causing the issue for the third time taking it in they kept it for 4 to 5 weeks almost waiting for parts because the coal springs were defective besides the ************ being defective. I also advised them that I was told that all service have been done and all fluids were checked before the vehicle was bought and left from the dealership air filter had never been changed. Oil had never been changed screws from the air filter. Box were missing and the worst of it. All the transmission was leaking oil and had soaked the transmission mounts so after they had it for 4-5 weeks we go to pick it up and they tell us that they forgot about the rest of the things and they were only working on the springs. So now they need a couple extra days to get that done. Meanwhile we got a big snowstorm so then ordering the gasket for the transmission. Oil pan was delayed by another week now here we are two weeks later again leaking again. No phone call. Tempted to call multiple times. No email returns no text message returns. I still dont understand how this is a jeep AutoNation dealership and they are still in business with such bad customer service and bad mechanical service

I was sold a lemon that is a 2019 ***** Odyssey Elite, I was told all codes and inspections were completed upon purchase of the vehicle. I have documentation of everything that is wrong with the vehicle it is inoperable. We were also sold a 2022 Dodge Ram 2500 that tires/windshield were needing replaced. We were told they replaced the tires but they are cupped tires and alignment is completely out of wack. *** reached out to the dealership for the general managers contact information and being sent fake information to get ahold of him. My next stop by Wednesday will be legal.

On Wednesday April 26th, 2023 my wife and I purchased a 2017 **** Expedition with the extended warranty. They assured us that the warranty could be cancelled and refunded at any time if we changed our minds later on. The very next day we decided that we did not want the warranty any longer, so I contacted our sales person to help get this refunded. After numerous calls and texts to our sales person, the main store office line, and the finance manager, we could not get anyone to even return a phone call. Eventually I drove to the store in person and was told that no one in the store could help me with the warranty refund at the time. As soon as I told them I wanted to just return the whole car under their 3-day return policy, all of the sudden someone could help me. They talked me through the process and explained that since the car was just purchased, and the check had not cleared the bank yet I would have to wait until after the check cleared to receive my refund. Again, they reassured me that everything would get fully refunded to my financing company (approximately $6,000). After a couple of weeks, on May 22, 2023 I emailed the finance manager, *******************************, and provided him my signed warranty cancellation form. He told me it would take approximately 6-8 weeks to complete the refund. It has now been 9 weeks and I still have no refund from the warranty, and have received very little contact from anyone within the company regarding my warranty refund, despite my attempts to receive an update.

AutoNation is trying to ding me 2k for the lemon they sold me in trade-in value towards a new working vehicle. Just give me the equal value of what I paid. 26 days out of service and this will be the third repair attempt at a problem they still can't identify.
