O'Reilly Builders specializes in defrauding customers. Please stay away from Mr. E**** of O'Reilly Builders at all costs, as all he does is lie to deceive people out of money and not finish the work. I hired him to do work on my basement in late 2021 and had his sign a contract. He established a good business relationship with me and my family, and subsequently defrauded me out of many thousands of dollars in the latter portion of 2021 by starting portions of projects, getting the money for those projects up front, and then making excuses and not finishing the work. He started a portion of a project as an appeasement, and to temporarily and gain trust, then moves on to the next project because thats "how he does things." He then delayed work too many times to count. He was sick (multiple times), covid (that was proven to be false), family in hospital, he was tired, his guys didn't show up, couldn't get equipment (says that wasn't his fault on multiple occasions), and I could go on. The lies were endless. His workmanship is very poor. I am much more meticulous with how I do DIY stuff than he is with his "profession". This guy is a total joke. He's an older guy, may introduce you to his wife to gain trust. Don't buy it. Total con artist. And after looking at this review board here, I understand that conning people is his MO. Construction work is the front he puts on to con people. My experience was a total repeat of what happened to other people. Wish I would have found this before I decided to go with him for a substantial project at my property. He knows the legal parameters to work within and how to seriously con people. CO law heavily favors contractors and he games the system and cheats people out of money and has no shame in doing so. Do not have this guy or company do any construction work. He does poor quality work, and is an overall terrible person. Great deceiver and liar though!
