On February 24th of year 2024, we bought a car from ***********************. While we were test driving it, it turned off on ** and we were told that it wasnt an issue because we were driving an automatic transmission so we proceeded on purchasing the vehicle. On our way home it was working well, later on that night the car started with problems again and it turned off again. We decided that we were going to park the car until we got a chance to speak to ****. On Monday, February 26 we called her to explain the issues going on. She told us that she had paid $850 for an inspection before selling the car to us, but at the end she agreed on us taking the car to her mechanic. Once we took the car to the shop that she had told us to, they called me saying that the only thing they had done was reset one of the sensors. I then asked if the car were to continue to do this what should I do. They told me to take is back so they could replace the sensor. The next day the car started with the same problem again. I called the mechanic shop again, they told me I could take it in again. Before taking it in I got an emissions test done, but it failed due to a sensor and a missing catalyst. I then called **** and she told me she was going to talk with the mechanic and return me the call, but I never received a call or message back. Ever sense she hasnt responded any of my texts or calls. Now I am stuck with $25,000 debt.
