    Last year we had a concrete apron poured around our house and Rivera gave us a bid that seemed fair. Well, with a fair bid comes fair work.A few months after the job was done, we noticed that the finish on the concrete was mottled and has a wavy finish. We called the project manager *** and he said to give it 6 months and that it should go away. After 6 months, it was still there so we called *** back and he came out to see it in person. During that visit, he said that he had never seen that type of staining before and that in order to move it up the line, he had to talk to the owner *********We got in touch with **** and made an appointment for him to come out on a weekend in September, but the day came and went and he never showed up. When we called him he said that they were really busy with projects and it slipped through the cracks and that he would get in touch. Well, that was 6 months ago and ***************************** never got back in touch.If you are looking for a reliable concrete contractor that is responsive and does good work, I would look elsewhere. Our apron is fine for what it is, but it certainly isn't attractive. Now one year later after winter and there are small chips in the finish that are developing. Makes me wonder how long it will last.If **** would've just called us back to discuss their work I probably wouldn't be as bummed out about it. But the fact that they did a rushed, poor job and then basically ghosted us about it was really frustrating. If you need any concrete work done, I would keep looking and not bother with Rivera.
