    May 30, 2023 I deposited $300 for an auto transport from ******* to ******* **. I drove to NM to meet the vehicle, and left the vehicle location and keys location with the coordinating agent ****. I arrived in *******, expecting the vehicle within 1-2 days per the agent. When it didn't arrive, I called the agent and he said "maybe it was the weekend" and that there were storms. I tried to get in touch with the dispatch company, but couldn't. I called the agent back and he said he talked to them and that their truck had issues, and to wait till Monday to see if the vehicle arrived. Monday came around, no truck. I called again to dispatch but the guy I got a hold of said my truck had been picked up. He said he didn't know when it would arrive. I called the agent back and complained about timing because I had coordinated repairs for the vehicle. He said give it a day or so and I told him I need to get the vehicle there. I felt odd about the nature of the conversations, so I called my neighbor and had her go check to see if my truck was there, and she said it was still. I had her go and get the keys and keep them. She mentioned that a moving truck had arrived and she saw them looking at the truck, but then they left. I called the agent back and told him this and he didn't know what to say. He tried to tell me he could set up a different transport, but he had already lost my trust and I was past the point of being able to continue with the coordinated work being done. So I told him I wanted to cancel, get my deposit back, and that not only did the dispatch lie about the location of my vehicle or even picking it up, but that he relayed the same wrong information, making me feel as though there was just delays. This is a horrible business practice, and I would expect a refund of my deposit, but they said they can't per policy. I feel this is not within their policy given the dispatch lied about every picking up the truck, and **** relayed bad information.

    *********** was our agent, and he did a great job of keeping us informed daily until the carrier was found and followed through until the car was picked up with us, and delivered to its destination as promised.
