    I purchased 3 certificates for Georgia for my real estate license based on 3 courses I completed for ********. The company reported them but one of them was not accepted. I reached out to the ********************** and it was not accepted because I purchased, completed and reported the course for Georgia in February. I contacted the company and advised them that even though I purchased the course from them in February I purchased an additional certificate in June for the duplicate course and I needed a refund because this was done in error. They advised that even though they can see the error and all courses were purchased from them, they will not honor my request and refund me for something that is not valid and not able to be recorded or accounted for with the real estate commission in *******. I spend money with them frequently until now and it is wrong to take my money for something that was already purchased. I want my money back.

    On 12/30/2024 I purchased a ******************** class (********* 7-Hour National USPAP Update Course) Which I was told, had to be completed by 7/1/25. Today is 6/13/25 and I have been trying to sign up to take the course but am being told that they are not offering the course this month so I requested to take it on the next available date that the class is being offered and was told that at this point, I have forfeited my payment since it is no longer being offered prior to 7/1/25. I requested a refund and was told that it is too late for a refund (which is only allowed within 30 days of purchase). It is unethical to sell something and tell that person that they must use it prior to 7/1/25 and not allow that person to use it prior to 7/1/25. At this point, I would either accept a refund or accept taking the class the next date that it is available...anything else is highly unethical.

    After reviewing your records, I see that your course was purchased on December 30, 2024, and your first contact with us occurred on June 13, 2025. During that interaction, you mentioned that you did not have access to a computer with a camera and preferred not to use a mobile device to complete the course.


    As stated in the terms and conditions agreed to at the time of purchase, course access is valid for six months from the purchase date. However, Ive spoken with our compliance team, and we have received approval to extend your course access for an additional 30 days beyond the original expiration date as a one-time courtesy.


    Your new expiration date is July 16, 2025, and you should now see this update reflected in your account.

    One April 29, 2025 at 2 PM EST, I attended a zoom meeting for a Broker in Charge Update Course with a CE Shop instructor. I paid $63.67 on April 14, 2025 for the course, Order Number: *******. I fulfilled all of the *************************************'s requirements by attending the course. The instructor informed the class that no further action was necessary to received reported credit for the course. He concluded by stating that an optional "final exam", which is a single question survey, would be available to us on our student portal at the CE Shop's website, which would allow us to receive confirmation for our own records that the class had been completed. It is May 21, 2025 and my credit has not yet been reported to *****. I need this credit reported to maintain my real estate license in good standing. I have several complaints regarding this. Firstly, I have contacted CE Shop staff three times, both by phone and online chat to resolve this matter. Each time I was told that someone would contact me by email. No one ever has. Secondly, the "final exam" survey never appeared in my student portal, as I was told it would. Staff advised me that I needed an access code. Access code to what? No access code was ever mentioned by the instructor. He only said that a link would appear under the My Courses tab, but it is not there. Thirdly, no final exam or survey or any such thing is required by ***** for credit for this course. I do not consent to any extra requirements being added to receive my credit for this course. Finally, I was told by an agent on the phone that someone would contact me within 72 hours to resolve this matter, but I waited a week and received no help. The failure of the CE Shop to even follow through on their promises to contact me promptly supports the conclusion that they do not take their obligations to their clients seriously. Anyone who trusts this company to provide them with their license requirements risks their professional credentials.

    We have carefully reviewed the Zoom recording from the April 29th class and confirmed that the instructor thoroughly explains the class closeout procedure, beginning at the 4:20:00 mark.
    Additionally, our moderators remained present until the session concluded, ensuring that all students understood the process, receive the necessary code for credit, and are guided through the final steps to complete the course.  There was no mention of an email being sent for the completion, in fact it was reviewed that the code provided during class needed to be entered and a one question exam was simply to say you attended the class which is required.  The code expires after 24 hours that was provided in class and therefore the class would need to be retaken.  To help with the cost we can offer a 50% discount when purchasing again which we have already added the account.

    I am rejecting this response because: the instructor said that a link for the survey would appear under the My Course tab in tbe student portal of the CE Shop website. It never appeared there. This made it impossible for me to enter an access code. Furthermore, the instructor made it clear that it was not required to receive credit, but was only for the students' own records. I expect CE Shop to report my course credit to ***** promptly. The deadline for license renewal is approaching. I reject your offer for me to retake the course at a discounted rate.

    I purchased a mandatory class through The CE shop. I chose to take my class through them so I can do it after work hours. After I finished up my class, I had to go through the ce shop to book the test with a 3rd party company. The testing place didnt have any available times for the next few months. I had to wait to recheck for available dates. Within that time of rechecking for test dates my course expired. I called customer service who also confirmed there were no test dates available I was told if I wanted to book my test I had to repay for the course extension. This doesnt make sense if I already paid for the course, already finished the course, and there were no available testing dates for months with the 3rd party. I was told it was my responsibility to book the test within my year expiration. Why would I book a test months before I even finished my course? I didnt even know how to or wasnt eligible until I was finished the course. Now im not even eligible to take the test. Essentially wasting all of those hours of my time and money that I spent. This is a predatory practice. You must take your class with The CE shops, then required to use another company for testing even if no testing dates are available to you, you must do it before the predetermined expiration date. You can not go directly to the testing company to book a test, you must go through the CE shop. You will have no access to booking a test if your course is expired with CE shop or you will have to pay the course fee again. I dont understand why they even offer the course, without knowing if testing dates are available to users.

    Per the requirements set by the state, the final exam for your course has to be proctored by a third party. *** is the company contracted to ******* the exam. *** does have time slots available to schedule your exam 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; however, those timeslots are on a first come first serve basis. While they do occasionally fill up for a week or two at a time,*** has had availability during the time you had to complete your course. In reviewing your account, our records show you contacted us on Friday 2/7/25 stating *** did have availability on Saturday 2/8/25 but you did not want to take the exam that Saturday. As a courtesy, we went against policy and provided you with a 7-day extension to allow you to schedule with *** for a day and time that better suited you. Our records show you did not schedule with *** prior to the course expiring on the new expiration date of 2/13/25. We did not hear from you again about the completion of this course until 5/21/25 and due to it being over three months since the course expired, we're unable to offer another extension. Per the Terms and Conditions agreed to upon enrollment, the course is not completed until the final exam has been passed and the affidavit has been signed, and the course must be completed prior to expiration. We understand the times available to you in February may not have been ideal for you, however, there were times available which would have allowed you to complete your course on time. Your course is now expired, and you would need to repurchase the course and start over in order to receive credit from the state.

     This statement just simply is untrue. I called the 1st time to schedule my test and there was no available test dates.  No options to schedule when I originally finished the class. I called costumer customer service to find out if I was doing something wrong. **************** also commented and said I was right there is no dates for testing. I would have to try again at a different time. I later contacted customer service again but was told the class expired and would need to pay for an extension in order to have access to book the test through Ce Shop, to take the test with PSI. I was not paying for an extension if I there was no available dates before it expired. It was not my fault. The 3rd time calling the CE shops they said the same thing, I will have to pay for an extension and tried to plead with them because to a consumer this was an outrageous predatory practice. They did not give me any extension to book anything on my own. The customer service representative said there was a class the next morning that I could take but no other options. I could not take the test last minute on the next day as I already was scheduled to work. I was not granted any type of extension or an option to book on my own through CE Shops. This is simply false. I paid for this class, finished the classes and tried multiple times to schedule the testing with this *** 3rd party company with no available options at the time. I did not have access to schedule the test without having to use The CE shops, unless I paid for an extension, I could not call PSI to schedule on my own. My hands are tied because you have to use The CE shops to have access to book a test. This is a predatory practice, as my complain mirrors other complaints for the same issue. If you have to use a 3rd party for testing, you should take take some of the liability if no reasonable dates or options are available to a consumer. I would like a refund on this class, since there are no other options available to me to receive appropriate credit or testing.

    I reached out to The CE Shop today requesting a refund. I purchased some courses on 03/18/2025 about 40 days ago. I had some family emergencies and was unable to contact them as I was not thinking about this course due to those issues. I have offered to provide proof of the issue and they will not even remotely reconsider. The customer service leaves a lot to talk about. I received an email stating I was not eligible for a refund because I was 10 days over the 30 day ***** I havent completed any of the courses. I am asking for help because this is so unjust. I am more than willing to provide proof of the hospital records but apparently that does not matter to them. All they want is money.

    While our refund policy does state that refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase, we do understand life can present unexpected obstacles and we do want to help our students who are facing life challenges as much as we reasonably can. 

    Due to the situation with your Families medical journey, we have decided to issue a full refund for your courses as a gesture of good will. The refund was issued on 4/28/25 and may take 1-3 business days to reflect on your account.     I signed up last year called in October for assistance because the courses were not working properly. I never received a call back. Finally the courses started working. I have been logging in the course shows 76 hours spend but the completion percentage sowing 23% there is a glitched. I called in and finally was able to get a hold of a rep. ***** with Jasmine which per her manager Myndy denied my request. I was informed she would call me, instead she sent me an email denying my refund. I called back again spoke with another rep ****** and she told me she could not give me corporates number or refer me Myndys to manager. I f i was interested I can purchase an extension for the course. When I purchase the course it had a money back guaranteed if not satisfied. I also didnt get my physical work book like I informed and the program no longer has the educational videos its just reading. Im extremely frustrated and disappointed it the change of program and poor customer service to their customers. They don't seem to care about customer service. Please have corporate office call me regarding my refund and missing materials I never received.Thank you

    I signed up and paid for a real estate course through CE shop and paid in full completed my courses and needed to take the test to get my degree. When I went to sign up for my test the only testing times were at 2am I have four young children so you can imagine how challenging it would be to take a test at 2am. I tried to get them to extend for a different time but they told me I would need to retake my courses if I had an extension.therefore I lost out on my 30+hours of time and work I had put into the course and lost all my money. They would not refund me. They said I could get 30%off the same offer they give everyone who signs up online and have to retake the courses. I have tried getting my money back with them for the past year with no luck! I just want refunded as they left me helpless with no test times available other then at 2am which is not even a possibility for me being a mom of four children. If they are unable to refund me at least let me take the test to complete my course! I really would appreciate your help Im a stay at home mom of four children and this is a lot of money to be out!

    Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention. The CE Shop is committed to providing students with a satisfactory experience while maintaining the boundaries outlined within the terms and conditions.

    The customer enrolled in a Minnesota real estate course, which is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Per Minnesota state regulations,course access cannot be extended beyond one year under any circumstance.

    Our records show that the customer began looking for exam times approximately 10 days prior to course expiration. Testing with PSI is available 24/7, but appointments are subject to availability and should be scheduled in advance to ensure preferred times are met. 

    On October 10th, the customer contacted support with questions about expiration dates.  She was advised of the 4/8/24 expiration date and was also advised that the course final exams needed to be completed.

    The customer first requested a refund on March 19, 2024. At that time, the course was more than 50% complete, and more than 11 months from the date of purchase. Per our refund policy, which is outlined, a course is only eligible for a refund if:
    The request is made within 30 days of purchase
    The course is less than 50% complete and
    The course has not expired
    Because the course did not meet these criteria, it is not eligible for a refund.

    As a courtesy, the customer was offered a 30% discount on repurchasing the course, or to use any of our daily promo codes. No further accommodations can be made.

    I am rejecting this response because this was not a fair opportunity. I worked very hard and put in over 50 hours of work and my valued family time to completing this course. I was in a position that was loose loose as I had taken time off from work and found daycare for my children in order to study and take this test. I have my cosmetology license and *** never had any issues getting in to take my test in 10 days. There is no accountability on your companies side, no accommodations made to allow for more adequate testing times. I dont know anyone that would wake up at 2 am to take a tedious test, again Ive had my cosmetology license for 20 years and never experienced anything like ******* a ten day paper there was no other opportunities to take my test other then at 2am. I was in a loose loose situation! Now Im out all my savings, 50+ hours taken from my family and myself all because I was backed into a corner with ridiculous times. Its completely unfair and everyone I have shared my situation with finds the situation I was put in unbelievable and agree I was put in an unfair position. All I want is a refund. As of now I have basically given your company a donation as Im out time money and have absolutely nothing to show for it, not to mention this was money that I had saved for my future and my family!

    I purchased a course and when I went to take the final exam it said it had to be graded prior to being able to complete the final exam. I reached out and advised that I am trying to take the final exam as the class expires today or that more time be given for the teacher to complete the grading. As they have told me that they can not extend the course I would be offered the option to repurchase at half off ? I don't know if this is a practice they have where they create what is marketed as self-paced with instructor assistance and then prolong this final portion so that they can make twice the money but I will not purchase the second course from them. I want a refund and I will retake the course elsewhere.

The CE Shop is committed to providing students with a satisfactory experience while maintaining the boundaries outlined within the terms and conditions. It appears that you were in-fact able to complete your course prior to the expiration date. However below are the terms and conditions of your course. 

    As mandated by ****, MLO National Pre-Licensing courses have a specified start and end date. Students must select their course start date within 90 days of purchase. Once the start date has been selected, students will have that day plus an additional 12 full calendar days to complete their course. The course cannot be extended beyond that timeframe. Students are advised on the expiration period, and assignment requirements, in the course orientation and course syllabus. The course orientation requires students to acknowledge they understand the policies and requirements before they can advance in the course. 

    The course requires students to dedicate a minimum of 20 hours reviewing the content, completing ****** activities, and passing unit, practice, and final exams. Course slides are timed to ensure they spend time reviewing the content before progressing in the course. In addition, students are unable to access their course final exam until all assignments are ****ed complete and must plan accordingly. Responses to assignments are reviewed Monday through Friday (except holidays), within 1-2 business days of receipt. Students are strongly encouraged to complete all course assignments by Day 7 of the course (6 days remaining) to ensure enough time for an instructor to review their responses, **** assignments complete, and for them to pass the final exam before the course end date.

    In 2024, I took and passed the 77-hour New **************** course. I am registering for the exam through ***************************************. I need proof that I took and finished the course. The CE Shop is refusing to give me any proof that I took and passed the course BECAUSE I didn't take the NY written exam. I called the ******************* and they said that the CE Shop is wrong and that I can take the exam. That the course is for life. I paid for the course and the invoice does not show up in my profile. Where is the invoice? The person I spoke with was very rude, put me on hold and never came back to the phone. I am NOT, I repeat NOT taking the course again. Once was enough! The CE Shop gave me misinformation. New York said I can take the exam and that the course is for life! They are preventing me from getting my NY license and thereby getting a job. I want the proof!

Your course has been carefully reviewed and we have attempted to contact you directly with the below information.  

    While all course content and one practice exam was successfully completed, your final course exam was never taken. A screen shot of your course home page showing the course 99% complete and the final exam remaining is attached for reference. In order to complete the course, the proctored final exam must be completed in person, at an approved location in the state of ********. Without the proctored exam being completed, we are unable to issue a certificate of completion.  

    Extensions or reactivations cannot be granted beyond 12 months from the purchase of the course since, in all events, the course terminates 12 months after purchase. ******** does not allow for the course expiration date to be extended beyond one year. Since the course has expired and is outside of the max one year, it must be completed again.

    I purchased CEShop's *********** Salesperson course in December 2022, primarily because the website clearly stated that there is no time limit and refunds are available at any time. In November 2023, I had completed 80% of the course and contacted customer service again to purchase the ** Salesperson Exam Prep Edge.I began preparing for the exam after I had finished studying and reviewing, and then took the exam. However, upon opening the course again, I was taken aback to find that all my completed courses had been erased. The course content was completely blank, and I was forced to start from the beginning.I was perplexed by this occurrence and experienced significant frustration.I reached out to customer service multiple times to request assistance in retrieving my completed courses. Unfortunately, They refuse to help. I was taken aback by this information, as it was not communicated to me prior to the completion of the course.Furthermore, I was informed that the course had been cleared, and I was sold the ** Salesperson Exam Prep Edge, which is required after the course is completed.This has led to significant inconvenience and financial loss. Furthermore, In 2024, the course I had purchased was closed, and I was required to repurchase it to continue my studies. I informed them that the course I had purchased was not time-limited, and they responded by requesting a screenshot of the webpage from the time I had purchased it. They stated that if I could provide this screenshot, they would issue a refund or allow me to continue studying at no cost.I find this response to be concerning, as it raises questions about their commitment to their own credibility and sense of humanity. It is disconcerting to consider the significant time and resources that have been invested in this matter, and the potential repercussions of such actions.

    Arizona *********************** has specified start and end date. Upon purchase the course material is available for one year from the date of purchase. The course expiration is listed on the course catalog page, the terms and conditions, and is also listed next to the course immediately after purchase. During the purchase a student must confirm they have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions before the purchase can be completed. The course must be completed within the one-year time frame, or the course expires and must be restarted in order to obtain credit. 

    Similarly, our Return policy is outlined in the Terms & Conditions presented and agreed to at check out. The CE Shop will refund the purchase price of any course if the refund request is submitted within 30 days of purchase, prior to course expiration, and the course is not more than 50% completed. The course does have to meet all of the requirements in order to qualify.  Regarding the refund request, the course is not eligible for a refund. 

    The 96-Hr. AZ Salesperson Pre-Licensing Standard Package was purchased 12/8/22 and expired 12/8/23 one year later. The student reached out to us 11/24/23 after purchasing 96-Hr. AZ Salesperson Pre-Licensing Premium Package because the student was unable to view their progress made in the original purchase. We advised the 2022 purchase was about to expire due to the expiration timeframe of one year from purchase and advised we are unable to transfer progress between course purchases. We were contacted again 8/20/24, we did advise the student upon speaking to them of the expiration date of the course, and that it could not be extended, as well as explained that progress does not carry over when repurchasing a course.

    Thank you for your reply, CEShop. Unfortunately, I am unable to accept your treatment, as it is not based on facts. As a provider of education, I hope we can make good use of the platform provided by BBB for sincere communication.Please find below some of the queries that I have raised in response to your reply. I am sure all will understand who is right and who is wrong after reading it.
    First, on the home page of the CEShop website, as of 12-8-2022, it states in red letters that your course is NO limited time! can be return at any time! This statement has been on the home page of CEShop's website for at least a year. Prior to purchasing, I contacted customer service to inquire about the policy, and they confirmed that it applied to the Arizona Pre-licensed 90-hour Salesperson Course, which was the primary reason I chose CEShop. Their response was very positive, and I have provided proof of this in the attached document. I was not informed that the course must be completed within the one-year time frame, or that it expires and must be restarted to obtain credit.Please provide the information you previously provided before I purchased, as well as evidence that I read and agreed to it. 


    Second,  On 12-8-2022, I purchased the Arizona Pre-Licensed 90-hour Salesperson course. Under to the course expiration date is a blue dot; by clicking on it, one can view a note indicating that the course is automatically extended for one year half a month prior to the expiration date. By 11-23-2023, I had completed 80% of the course, and the expiration date on the back of the course had been extended to 6-8-2023. The red statement "NO LIMITED TIME" remains on the CEShop website homepage. I reached out to customer service to inquire about the expiration date of my course. They clarified that the expiration date had been adjusted to be extended for half a year. I was also informed that my course is NO limited time. I then inquired about the ** Salesperson Exam Prep Edge because my course is almost finished, and I want to prepare for the exam. I consulted with ** Salesperson Exam Prep Edge because I am almost ready to start reviewing. I need ** Salesperson Exam Prep Edge to prepare me for the exam.


    Third, The CEShop personnel responded by stating that I had contacted them on November 23, 2023, because the student was unable to view their progress made in the original purchase.This claim is clearly not accurate and contradicts an earlier statement.I inquired about the reason for the expiration date of my course being extended for only six months instead of one year, as originally stated. The ** Salesperson Exam Prep Edge was procured, and the relevant attachments were provided as evidence. These attachments substantiate the bank's *************** is evident that there are significant inconsistencies and inaccuracies in the provided response. If the course is indeed set to expire on December 8, 2023, as indicated, the necessity of purchasing the ** Salesperson Exam Prep Edge becomes questionable. This course is only made available after the completion of the entire program, and as a training organization, it is unreasonable to make such an offer.I kindly request that you communicate with me in a forthright manner.


    Fourth,After purchasing the ** Salesperson Exam Prep Edge course on 11-23-2023, I was taken aback when I opened the course again and discovered that all my completed courses had been cleared. This was a source of frustration for me, as I had not been informed of this prior to this occurrence.I would like to inquire about the rationale behind selling the ** Salesperson Exam Prep Edge course to me at the same time as the course was cleared. I would appreciate an explanation as to why you chose to clear all my completed courses on 11-23-2023, and whether there was a valid reason for this action. In my opinion, this appears to be an act of malicious and reckless behavior on your part, and I would like to understand the reasoning behind it.


    Fifth,I would like to reiterate my previous request for a return, despite the understanding that it was a policy of yours to allow returns at any time. Despite the frequent website outages and interruptions, I have repeatedly contacted support via phone and chat, only to receive answers that a resolution is none just wait. However, there is no substantive update in sight, and the website remains inaccessible for extended periods, sometimes spanning up to half a month. This has caused significant inconvenience to my studies, and I have not received any updates regarding the repair of the ********** recently as *******, I was unable to access my course for almost a month. Despite multiple attempts to seek assistance, I was unable to log in. I did not request a refund of the course before due to I'm kind and considerate of other people's feelings. However, I would like to express my concerns regarding the reliability of your website and the unethical nature of deleting a completed course without prior notification. Your actions have been detrimental to my emotional well-being, and I would appreciate a resolution to this issue.


    Sixth,December 8, 2024, I asked to speak with your administrator and she said that my course has an expiration date as of November 23, 2024, and this date is now shown on my course webpage and I have uploaded a screenshot of it, please see attached. How was the cutoff date determined? Your reply says that my course's expiration date is December 8, 2023, which has become November 23, 2024 again, can you provide an explanation on this? I can! That's because the course I purchased was NO limited time, you kept your promise in 2023 and extended the deadline before the course expired as agreed, and in 2024 you are trying to milk me again by clearing my completed course, selling me a course that I can't use yet, trying to charge me another tuition fee, and telling me that the course that I completed again is also going to be cleared. Where are your morals and conscience? I won't keep quiet anymore, I can't let uninformed people get ripped off again because you've taken too much of my time! This is irreparable damage! You say it's an Arizona rule, so please answer, what Arizona law or statute says it is? Please submit your evidence!
