5 starsWhen I noticed a water spot on the basement ceiling, I then noticed that the toilet on the floor above was leaking. Top Shelf was prompt in answering our call and sent ****** to fix the problem. He diagnosed the issue and had everything fixed in no time. He was professional, tidy and extremely pleasant. We had used Top Shelf in the past for plumbing and electrical and have always been more than pleased with their service. A+Review fromMichelle L

1 starAbsolutely don't use this company. I had Top Shelf come out to repair a GE furnace that quit working & I thought it was caused by the thermostat that quit working. ****** was sent out, looked at furnace & said it's too old to fix. Did NO diagnostics. "Installed" new thermostat at my insistance which didn't turn on furnace. Then he gave me a hard sell for a new furnace & quote on his phone for a new Trane 80% one stage furnace for $7550. He refused to give me a written quote. I hired another **** company to come out. He did ********************* worked when he bypassed thermostat. He discovered thermostat was wired wrong, which he fixed for $165. I called company & complained & was told Id be called by owner or service mgr, which never happened. As a senior I do not appreciate being scammed: I may be old, but I'm not stupid!

Unfortunately, you have over a 40 year old furnace that should be replaced. It's unfortunate that you would rather go with the cheap band-aid option, instead of a permanent solution. Being that you couldn't afford a new system, we tried to give you financing options with a low monthly payment. We highly recommend that you get your furnace replaced by another contractor to prevent future issues.
We are sorry that you weren't happy with our recommendations and services.

5 starsI had ********** out for an electric issue he gave me a fair estimate and started to work right away.He knew how to fix my issues and did it promptly. 5 starsYesterday morning a leak appeared in my dining room ceiling and it was spreading fairly fast. The first plumbing company I called (a well-known one) couldn't get to my house here in **********, for three days! When I called Top Shelf Plumbing they were able to send someone here within a couple of hours. ****** arrived on time, and immediately got right to work shutting the water off and locating the leak that was occurring above the ceiling. It didn't take him long to find the pinhole leak in a pipe, and he cut that piece of pipe out and put a new pipe in its place. He showed me the tiny hole in the old piece which was very hard for me to spot. He also was very professional in cleaning up the ceiling debris from the floor and answering questions I had. I will be calling Top Shelf Plumbing should I ever need plumbing services again. Also, I want to thank you, ******, for your fine work. ***************
