Grease Monkey put the brake pads on the wrong sides, as well as did not tighten down the rotor. This ended up destroying the wheel. To repair their mistake, it cost us almost $1,000 in addition to towing fees. So disappointed in this business.

MANAGER IS VIOLENT WITH ANGER ISSUES. Upon taking my vehicle to real mechanic it was discovered that store #*** had damaged my vehicle to the point of needing a new oil pan. The manager ***********************, assured my wife all we needed to do was to bring it in and it would be fixed that day, and if the part was not in stock we will run down to OReillys and get it.no problem. Once we arrived he immediately backtracked. He began raising his voice to my wife as soon as she reminded him of his previous statements over the phone. At that point I stopped him and reminded him that we were upset that his location damaged our vehicle, and he had absolutely NO reason to be raising his voice to us. He immediately became thuggish and confrontational, stating *** dealt with people like youIm not from around here! Its not going to end the way you think! I told him several times just check it and get it fixed, and well be on our way, and each time I walked away he would yell at me to CALM DOWN.When I turned around and told him Do not yell at me to calm down, he rushed up to me, got within 2 inches of my face and began threatening me, to the point where one of his employees had to physically remove him.I called **** the owner of the location to inform him of his managers behavior, and was immediately brushed off. Although I have been going to Grease Monkey for decades, and had gone specifically to this location for the last 10 years, I was told Wellhes been here for 14. I told **** that didnt excused his behavior, and was told there were cameras all over the building and they will be reviewed, and he would get back to me. NEVER HEARD BACK THIS LOCATION IS NOT QUALIFIED TO CHANGE OIL.AND THE MANAGERS THUGGISH BEHAVIOR IS ACKNOWLEDGED AND ACCEPTED.Due to the Complete lack of accountability from Corporate, I will never set foot in this or ANY other Grease Monkey.

I took my 2015 **** Escape to a Grease Monkey franchise in ******** ** in February for an oil change. I'd never had any problem with the car in the three years I owned it. When they asked if there was anything else they could look at on the car, I told the technician I had a "hill assist" warning light on which had no effect on the car performance, but they then advised I needed a new battery to shut the light off. I agreed to have them do that. It is now early June and the car has not run since. This franchise and their parent company Full Speed Automotive (headquartered in the ****** tech center in *****************) have hidden behind an insidious insurance company in *********** named "**************************. These incompetent and corrupt people made a couple of phone calls and determined that Full Speed/Grease Monkey had ZERO responsibility for my car now not running and needing an $1800 repair for a new electrical system. The **** dealer they took my car to - (*************) were the only folks that actually communicated with me - they were great. I heard from no one at Full Speed/Grease Monkey until I reached out and found names of local management. The **** dealer service tech sent a letter basically saying I was being screwed - the Full Speed/Grease Monkey folks took a car running perfectly, got into the electrical system and now the car needs to have it replaced. Neither they or their "insurance company" will provide a reason why they will not take ANY responsibility for their malpractice. I will advise anyone and everyone I know as well as communicate my story out however I can to avoid this company completely. This treatment of any customer, now *********************************************************** the company. ****************** is an absolute joke as well and should not be licensed as an insurance company. **************** is in a sad state these days, and this company doesn't care.

Avoid this place. They hit the wall attempting to pull the truck into the bay, and they hid it from me. Also didn't even have my oil type, and tripped sensors in the truck. Do not waste your time or money on any Grease Monkey on this side of town.

THE ***** NEVER BOTHERED TO CALL BACK TO REJECT OR CALL ME A LIAR I contacted the companys headquarters in ********. I spoke with *******.She told me that the owner, **************************** D.C. of ************, ** would call me back.As a recent transplant from the East Coast I knew nothing of GREASE MONKEY INTERNATIONAL, its franchisee in *******, what they repaired and what were their reviews on ************ and the BBB. If I knew I would never set foot there.The reviews by women or their partners shocked me. The customers who left after an oil change even had the employee forget to fill up the new oil. Well, you read the 100 reviews since the ******* FAMILY bought GREASE MONKEY INTERNATIONAL IN ******* **.I WENT IN LIKE TO GREASE MONKEYS AS I DID AS I CROSS THE COUNTRY I WEIGH 250 lbs and I am Sixty years old.I offer $2-$5 to request employees to check the air in my tires On Sunday September 19th 2021 I drove around to the back and paid $2 for air check. I was to drive to ***** on Thursday. I drove home, parked my car in the garage. I came back on Tuesday evening to go food shopping. I backed out the car on a roughly 135 degree angle, I braked, reversed and drove fifty feet and hear a violent sound. I got out to check. I saw the flat. I parked in another spot to turn around for I was blocking traffic and maneuvered the car back into my spot.Little did I know that I damaged my sidewall.AAA came. They told me it was the valve stem. They filled the tire up.I went to my mechanic the next day and he replaced the valve stem.Five days later the air was down to 9 psi.I called corporate GREASE MONKEY INTERNATIONAL IN ******** ******* was only interested in my name and phone number.I was told that ************************* would call me back.As I waited for a call that never would come I read the reviews.There were reviews of damage of over $1,000 that ***** refused to pay (you read them on Yelp and Google).I see the grade F here on BBB for ************************* ignored the BBB.Well, I ordered a new tire for $187. I will pay more to mount it. It will stick out like a sore thumb as black vs the browned tires.My car has ****** miles. My other car has ****** miles it is 18 years newer.These are Michelin Defender LX 205/65/15 tires.There was only one left in the nation.I could not buy two to have matching front or rears.Sure it would have been almost $500.For a simple air check of a employee addressing the valve going directly on the valve stem vs. the side?I sleep well.I hope you will not worry on your next oil change or repair for you read the 100 plus reviews on ************ and here on the BBB about **************************** D.C. owned Grease Monkey International of ******* ******* **.Forget about this review/complaint do read about the last eight years of the employees and their training and performance with *****.
