    They took my money and refused to issue a refund after I told them I was on ******** and should have never been charged said medical bill. Very slimy indeed.

    This company is very difficult to deal with and inaccurate! After being told I owe nothing to a ************** I was then told 2 years later by mail I was in collections to PFC. I did my best to pay off the amount in a timely manner! I went to make my last automatic payment and once again It said my balance was 0. I knew that was inaccurate so I called! The lady said I did owe ****** Which I knew because the automatic payment number that I had been using had told me the amount! She said no this was for a different account! I was very confused and frustrated once again because I was not notified of a second account that wasn't connected to this one but yet the automatic payment system told me I still owed 100 a month before! I payed the remaining balance and then asked for a receipt and was told I WOULD HAVE TO WRITE A WRITTEN REQUEST for a debt I had payed because it was closed! This company is very sneaky and probably a scam ....BEWARE EITHER WAY!

    0 communication and randomly taking money from people is ridiculous. This is shady and criminal behavior. I was never offered a opportunity to pay my balance

    PFC always prefers to resolve accounts voluntarily and has record of speaking with ************************ several times prior to legal action. PFC is happy to work with ************************ on a voluntary arrangement to resolve this matter amicably.

    I have never dealt with this company before...but they outdid themselves by listening and working with me...the professional I talked with was ********************* So polite, very helpful, listened to all issues involving this and very friendly and truly a very good person ??!!! you should feel blessed to have her working for you Thanks *************************

    Is this a sham company? Their site doesn't work. There is no "account number" for me to reference. No one answers when I call. I do not want what happened to others here to happen to me.

    **************** should stop using these people for collections. I attempted to pay online and was unable to. I try to call but you cannot get through to a person and they don't return voice mails. So they are taking me to court for a bill less than $300 that I would just pay if they didn't make it impossible. They are unprofessional and downright shady to trying to collect court fees instead of just letting me pay. Disgusting.

    Professional Finance Company contacted me about a debt (for my husband) from a hospital. I took the time to contact them and explain that we had ******** coverage (on their recorded line). PFC then explained that they are unable to close the case unless they are contacted by the hospital to do so. I then contacted the hospital to resolve this issue in which the hospital responded by saying, it was "in collections" and that "the account is no longer with them". PFC, *** is fully aware that they are not able to charge ******** recipients because they have been dealing in medical collections since ****. They are experts in knowing that there are laws that prevent them from collecting this debt. However, PFC responded by filing a lawsuit to collect this debt. I can see that by the previous responses that this will go to "the law firm" (which I would be grateful if it could) so they can respond to the order from the Judge for mediation. I just don't want PFC to continue to avoid addressing their lack of due diligence in the accounts in which they choose to collect on. Thank you.

    ***'s attorney reached out and discussed this matter with the consumer. PFC offered to dismiss the action if the consumer could provide any evidence of ******** eligibility for the dates of service in question and the consumer refused to provide any such evidence. The information that PFC has received is that commercial insurance was used for the dates of service at issue and that the provider only had ******** eligibility for the patient on later dates of service. PFC's offer to dismiss the matter upon provision of relevant ******** information still stands.

    This company is not following the statute of limitations by state I resign at its six years and they are trying to collect after nine years.and have no history of calling me .

    PFC appreciates the opportunity to address this matter. We have spoken to the consumer many times and had reached an agreement to get the account paid. While the consumer is correct that the statute of limitations is 6 years, the payments made on the account had tolled the statue of limitations and it has been less than 6 years since the last payment made. As always, PFC is willing to work with consumers to resolve their accounts in an amicable manner.
