Shortly after purchase, the customer contacted us regarding an engine issue and expressed concern that the warranty would only cover the installation of a used engine. This is accurate and clearly outlined in the warranty agreement.
While the customer voiced a preference for a remanufactured engine over a used one, we offeredpurely as a gesture of goodwillto split the cost of the upgrade. We viewed this as a worthwhile investment for both parties.
I attempted to contact the customer by phone today without success, but I will continue to follow up throughout the remainder of the week to discuss the additional matters mentioned.

On 4/11/22 I went to buy a car from one of weld county garages used car lot called drivewise. When i got there they let me check out a few cars to see which one i wanted to buy. I found one that i wanted but when asked they neglected to tell me about the problems it had. The problems only got worse after I started purchasing the vehicle. They had me take it to their shop called truck city in which they said they fixed it but didn't. I had to take my vehicle to a different shop called drivetek automotive to get stuff fixed. I also found out that the shop the dealership had me take my vehicle to messed my vehicle up worse then it was. I called the shop to see if I could get them to fix the rest of the issues in which they said that they didn't even touch the part that was messed up but would need to have the vehicle for a week so that they could determine weather they could fix it without it costing me more money. I now don't have the vehicle due to an accident because of the vehicle not being fixed and from what I seen the night of the accident part of the weld from the parts the shop truck city put on the car had broke. I now do not have the vehicle and am still being told I have to finish paying for a vehicle that I don't have. The insurance company I had at the time Allstate told me they they paid all but 5000 dollars in which I have been told I have to pay.

Customer brought to our attention a mechanical issue he was having with the vehicle, out of goodwill we paid for several hundred dollars in repairs. We did suggest a shop to have any other repairs needed that would accept a service contract if purchased.

The loan is held by a lender not Drivewise we have no control over insurance claims or balance settlements. If customer contacts lender it’s possible they may make a settlement offer for balance.

I am rejecting this response because: All I was told was that it wasn't their problem anymore and even though I did have a service contract . They never said anything about a shop to fix anything else that was wrong with the vehicle. To begin with if you are an honest person you let your customers know that there are a few issues and that they would need to be fixed so that the car is safe to be driven on the road.  This dealership is not honest and just sells vehicles no matter what is wrong with them as long as they make a buck.

In goodwill Drivewise has helped with after sale repairs. We have no other offer for the customer. We would suggest contacting the finance company about the balance remaining for a possible settlement.
