    My initial pest company was owned by a friend, ****, and it was *** **** *******. I had worked with **** for over 10 years. **** sold the business Kings Pest Solutions. I talked to **** and he said to give them a chance. You can see on the statement that I have paid my bills on time. Up until 4/16/25. I had spoken to the gal who called me to confirm my appointment. I reminded her that he/she would call me 30 minutes before they came so I could go home and lock up my dogs. No one ever called and I thought that was odd. I went home and saw a sign on my porch saying they had been there and sprayed the front of the house. I was kind of mad at that and I called the company and said I wasn't going to pay that. I have a 3 story house and a huge back yard. I have wasps in my backyard. I have spiders in my house. Doing the front was a waste of time. Now, their policy is to come back out. I would have agreed if the service had been great in the past. It has not. The guy came out and said "we don't spray the bedrooms." I specifically want the bedrooms sprayed. I asked them to take me off their list, I wasn't paying the $85. I would get another service.
    They have sent me repeated bills via text, email, a letter telling me they are going to send me to collections. I called their owner on Tuesday the 22nd and I reiterated my story, I explained that I wasn't going to pay my bill. He just kept reiterating to me that I didn't take the "come back" call to have my house redone. I kept explaining that I didn't want their service. He told me "my contract" says that. I don't have a contract. Not with Kings Pest Solutions or with ***.
    I don't want their service, not paying the bill for a terrible job, and I don't want them to send me to collections for $85. They should do the correct thing and void this charge and leave me alone.

    We appreciate the opportunity to address this concern. Our records show that a full service was provided at the customer's property on  4/19, and all work was performed in accordance with our established standards and procedures. The customer did not express any dissatisfaction at the time of service, and no issues were raised during or immediately after the visit.
    We made reasonable efforts to resolve this matter directly with the customer, including offering a reservice free of charge. Despite this, payment for the service remains outstanding.

    The customer received services for three quarters before suddenly deciding she no longer wanted to pay for services rendered.
    We stand by the quality and completion of the work performed. Since the balance has remained unpaid for 104 days, we have no choice but to refer the account to a third-party collections agency.


    We encourage the customer to reach out to us directly if they would like to resolve this matter amicably before it escalates further.

    I am rejecting this response because: I clearly made a complaint the day of that service.  I called and complained immediately when I got home and saw the sign on my door.  I complained EVERY time you called, sent me emails, sent letters, etc.  It was NOT a full service by any means.  Spraying the front of the house IS NOT a completion of the service.  Your girl who answers the phone on 2 separate occasions said she would take care of the bill.

    The customer highlights that she complains about the service - which she has done a lot - but will not accept the offer of a free reservice. She is no longer a customer of ours. Her account has been closed and her balance has been sent to a third party collections agency.

    I am rejecting this response because:  This is not adequate.  I believe this company is taking advantage of their customers.  They should have done what was right the first time around.  No, I didn't want them to come to my house.  This means I would have taken time off AGAIN to meet someone when they should have called me ahead time.  Had they have called ahead of time ,I would have met them there and this situation would have been resolved.
