      All Pro Moving of **************, *** is a company of dubious nature led by an even more dubious management. They gave me an original bid of $1,170 and billed me for $2,245. Then, when they broke expensive art pottery and wouldn't acknowledge the blame for the damage, claiming if it was important to me, I should have boxed it up. Then they claimed it wasn't their fault, as they ran out of blankets to wrap it with. Again, claiming it was my fault for not taking care of it. I had purchased what I was led to believe was their most expensive and inclusive insurance. With that insurance, they wanted to offer pennies on the dollar for the damage. Then, a ** went missing and I called to inquire if the ** was still on their truck. The manager became angry at me for asking and claimed the truck had been used multiple times after our move and they did not have it. After five days, one of the All Pro Moving employees called me to ask if he could stop by our house to discuss the **. When he showed up, he said he broke our original ** during the move and didn't want to show us. So, he hid that information from us. He said he purchased a new ** with his own money and delivered it to us. Again, no acknowledgment from the management that they did anything wrong. When I went to the All Pro Moving office to discuss the damage and miscommunication, I was met with hostility and rancor. Once again, being told that all damage was my fault, and the ** was taken care of by his employee. This manager and company do not care about you or your belongings. All they care about is charging a customer as much money as possible and taking no accountability for their actions. In the days following the move, we continued to find damaged furniture that was not exposed or communicated to us at the time by the moving company employees. This company should be avoided at all costs, as they will not take care of your possessions as they claim in their bid process.

      Good afternoon. I'm sorry that your recent move was not to your satisfaction and had damaged items. The television that was missing, and subsequently found to be broken, was hidden by two employees that no longer works for us. We ask our crews to be honest and let us know if damage does occur, because we do care about how your items are treated, but these particular employees chose to try and hide the damage and dispose of the item. We had the 3rd employee that was on your crew personally bring you the new TV (which we are having pay out of his own money) and apologize for his part in the deception. As far as the difference in the amount of your **** verses the estimated amount, the biggest reason that there was such a difference was due to the fact that you changed the scope of work in the fact that you insisted that EVERY item be padded and shrink wrapped, which was not in the original estimate, and subsequently caused us to run out of pads, which in turn caused us to have to make multiple trips to move all of your items. All of those factors caused the job to take quite a bit longer than estimated. As far as your comment "I had purchased what I was led to believe was their most expensive and inclusive insurance", we do not sell insurance. What we offered for you to purchase was Asset Protection. It does not afford the same protection that insurance would. You had the opportunity to value your total shipment with this product for up to $50,000.00 but chose to value YOUR ENTIRE SHIPMENT for the minimum amount of $10,000.00. The total value that you declare determines the settlement for damaged items. The document that you were provided and signed explains this process in detail. My husband, ****, even offered to settle as if you had valued your shipment for the maximum amount, but you weren't happy with that. I assure you that we care about each and every customer and only ask to be paid for the work that we performed, which we did according to your specification. Again, I'm sorry that your move was not to your satisfaction.
