    I took over paying my Mom's bills, she is 85 years young. She has Macular Degeneration and sees many doctors. I have set up Bill Pay for her account, I'm a signer. I mistakenly paid the Retina Center twice once on 1/06/2025 $200.00 and another on 01/21/2025 for $100.00. My Mom pays her co-pay each time she goes in of $40.00, insurance covers the balance. Once I realized my mistake I called and left the bookkeeper ( office manager *****) many times. I finally talked to her by going to the business and producing my POA. ***** told me they never received any payments from me or my Mom, I asked for a print out of services rendered and payments, she sent a document totally unreadable. I emailed proof of payment and finally brought them to the business. Once I proved the payment she then said we owed that money and refuses to give it back. If you look at the reviews of this place this is a common complaint.
