    I want to share my very unfortunate experience with, Teds Sheds of ***************. I am an aspiring small business owner looking to get a new art studio, I contacted teds sheds I want to say some time in ******** ** the time they had a picture of a shed up on their website and pricing below, I called them up got a quote on this shed, we had some back and forth until we figured out the shed and the price. Mind you by this time I have spoken with 3 different, and having to explain the situation three different times. And this has all happened over about a 2 week period and over email, I asked for this because during winter I plow snow, spring I take all the over time available and same with summer, in hopes of saving enough money to invest into myself and small business. needless to say, I'm pretty busy. ** the time I was very gracious for them to afford me that luxury.Get to within a month of the install date and I'm asked to make a down payment of 10% which I do. Fast forward a week or two I am asked to come down to finish payment. Since I work a lot, my wife manages to come down and speak with the team at teds sheds office.She takes time off work to make that happen, and when she gets there, there is a price Difference of over 20% and they show her designs of a woodshed with a door. Not a Studio/Office like advertised. ** which point I get a call at work and a few text messages telling me about the situation, I then tell her to ask for the deposit back, which she gets, to their credit, and ********* this point I call and leave a voice mail asking what is going on and who do I need to get involved? Because this feels a lot like false advertising and trying to shake my wife down for more money.I have read many reviews and I understand this isnt something that happens alot with this company from the sounds of it. BUT I have poured a lot of time, money and effort into my small business. To be mislead and having the rug pulled out from under me.

    Mr ********** contatcted us with a screenshot of a shed that was shown on our website and wanted a quote. 

    We provided the quote. The specific shed he sent in had extra options with windows and nicer siding. 

    He basically threw a fit and kept trying to tell us we need to build shed for the basic price listed on the website. 

    We build to suite and there are hundreds of options you can put on the shed. The base price is listed on our website with what options that come with the base price listed below. 

    I sent over emails with clarification and put a stop on the build until he signed off that he understood what he was getting. 

    We Never asked for final payment, we asked for him or his partner to come in to make sure they are getting what they wanted.

    If we were an unethical company we would never have gone to these length's to stop the order and make sure everyone was on the same page. 

    He once again became upset and I drew the line when our front office salesperson came to me in tears after a conversation with him.

    As the business owner I strive to give good customer service as shown with our hundreds of 5 star reviews.

    I quite honestly do not want to do business with him. I immediately cut the refund check for the 10% down payment and send it back after confirming the address. 

    We wish him the best but do not want to be involved with his shed purchase.
