      Be cautious if you're in the military. After a deployment to ******, I was surprised to find a bill for $1,800 claiming I hadn't insured my car, despite it being covered under garage insurance and stored safely throughout my deployment. Upon addressing this with the local branch manager, I was told that they had tried to contact me through mail, texts, and calls, but being in ****** meant I was out of reach for such communications, and without someone back home to check my mail, I remained uninformed.The manager expressed their inability to assist, insisting my coverage did not meet their requirements, despite my explanations. I reached out to the insurance provider, who had no problem dismissing the claim since I was indeed insured during my deployment. However, when I relayed this to the credit union, I hit a wall; they stood firm that the insurance policy prevented them from revoking the claim.The situation became more frustrating when the branch manager refused to disclose her name, citing company policy, which seemed counterintuitive since such information is typically public record for someone in her position. This entire experience has left a sour taste, shedding light on the company's disregard for military members and their unique circumstances, along with a seemingly arbitrary approach to policy enforcement.I would advise fellow service members to think twice before securing a loan with this company. In contrast, **** Financial has proven to be a strong military supporter, which is why my family, friends, and I will continue to endorse companies that genuinely back our troops.

      Our regional credit union manager has spoken with this member as of 5.8.2024. Once all information was gathered from the member to our Regional Manager, we were able to address the issue with the member and get the item resolved.  Member has been provided with our Regional Manager's name and direct number for any other inquiries or concerns on this matter.
