I recently has work done at Trail Jeeps a Lift and some gears. They needed my wheel lock tool to get my brand new wheels and tires off so they could do the lift and gears. I let them know where it was when I dropped my vehicle off, After the work was completed I noticed that they removed it from the baggy but it was never returned. When I called them about it's whereabouts they asked the mechanic who said that they used their own tool and never touched mine. If that was true it would have never needed to be removed from my Jeep storage box under the back seat unless the intent was to steal it. It was either lost or stolen while in their possession. When I asked about it they just dropped the issue and never offered to replace the tool or anything. Now I'm having to purchase a new spline removal tool due to their negligence in addition to the cost of my lift and gear work They seemed to have done the Lift and the Gears correctly however if you can't trust them to return items like wheel locks that the customer provided how could anyone recommend them. They should have stepped up and have been accountable for their actions and replaced the $15.00 tool instead of loosing a customer that was planning on spending much more on Jeep Customizations. I'm supposed to go back to Trail Jeeps at 1,000 miles for them to change out the gear fluids but at this point I'm not sure I want to return even though I've already paid for the service. . This is a place that doesn't care about their customers or their business.
