On Sept 1, 2022, I booked 1 room for a 2-night stay (2 and 3 Sept) at the Ramada by Wyndham Frisco. I called the number they had listed on their website; 970-368-2232. The call was made at 5:57 p.m. MST on 1 Sept. The phone call lasted 13 min and 44 sec. The booking agent from the call center quoted me $204 and some change for the entire 2-night stay. I clarified and asked how much that was per night, the booking agent said $102 and some change per night and confirmed a second time that the total was $204. When I arrived at the hotel front desk on the afternoon of 2 Sept, the price was $450, which was $246 more than I was quoted by the booking agent. This being Labor Day weekend, every hotel in the area was completely booked, I had no choice but to pay the amount and stay at the hotel. After pet fees for 2 dogs, I paid a total of $490.33. I called the "Ramada Customer Care Center" and placed a complaint. I received this response via [email protected]: "Thank you for contacting the Ramada Customer Care concerning your experience with the property located in FRISCO, CO. We have been advised by our specialty team, they have reviewed your call when booking the reservation, they have determined you were advised by the booking agent the cost would be 203.35 plus tax for a total of 225.65 per room per night. At no time during your conversation were you advised this was the price for two nights." //BREAK// That, or course, is a lie, the booking agent confirmed the total for the 2-night stay was $204. She did so twice. With pet fees and taxes, my total should have been $288.60, I was charged $490.33. Their booking agent misquoted me, Ramada by Wyndham Frisco should have some integrity, and refund me the difference in the amount of $201.73. Thank you BBB, for your time and consideration.
