I dropped off my dogs last minute due to a death in our familiy and received emails daily that they were doing well. We picked them up from the aiport and both my dogs were hurt. One was missing a nail and had two other chipped ones that were bloody and my boy had bloody paws. This situation caused me to have to leave work 3 times for vet visits after. The boarding did pay for the vets visits but I still paid for the boarding. This caused more unnessary stress after dealing with a death in our family. I would NEVER use this facility nor recommend them. The owner said they dont have camera's outside so they couldnt tell me what happened. She speculated but my dogs are used to being on rocks at home in our backyard when they run and play the fence game with our neighbors. Just very disappointed by this whole experience.

The client boarded her two pups with us February 11-15, 2021. They both did great during their stay and got lots of extra attention for our team. We have large outdoor runs that are 6'x 48' lwith pea gravel for every dog to enjoy thier time outside time. Dogs do like to run along side of the chainlink fence with there neighbor. At no point did either dog show any signs of discomfort during thier stay, we keep close tabs on all animals in our care and communicate any observations. We did notice that the one dogs toe nails were overgrown and this can cause the toe nail to get caught and potentially get torn off and/or split doing what dogs do. As for the second pup, his feet were not bleeding, they were a little pink, more than likely from running back and forth on the pea gravel, which is one of the safest surfaces we can have in our runs. I did pay all of the vet bills, three different vet visits for first aid and follow-up visits, and the nail trimming that the vet did, because the dogs nails were overgrown. I also took the liberty of speaking with the vet, let her know all of our procedures and how our facility is set up and asked if there was anything we could have done differently, the response was "I don't think you could have done anything differently." We do not handle situations like this lightly, if we have an issue or a concern we immediately start our internal investigation to see where things may have went wrong. We do have outside cameras unfortunately it just didn't show everything in the entire area, and like I stated previously, we had no reason to think anything was wrong with either of the two pups. I spoke to the client multiple times to follow-up to see how both pups were doing, she thanked me for following up, and covering the vet bills, after our last conversation she gave me no reason to believe that she wasn't satisfied. I'm not sure why it has taken so long to voice her concern. As much as we would like to control each and every dogs behavior in our care, dogs will run, dig, play with thier family members staying with us, and jump on the fence. Thank for your time.
